This project was a special one, I want to give a huge shout out to @jdirector_ and @dannyp1818 for being down for the concept! Make sure to go check them out!

I know this is not your typical car video, and that being said its not supposed to be!

The fact that you didn’t shoot every goddamn thing in slow motion and use the real time with such practical shots. You literally fucking showed the potential of this camera and also how you tied your cinematography into making this look as good as it did. Excellent fucking shit man.

    Thank you very much Jack!🤘🏼 it was the stills version of the lens (which is amazing) as for the PM VNDs they are great but not worth the price IMO if I had to do it all over I would get another set of Moment VNDs or the Freewill VNDs 🚀🔥 saves money and works great! I actually just purchased the mirage VND Matte box from Tilta gonna be testing that out!

    What’s up again Jack!! Yes, the Tokina is quit amazing for the price. Very universal, and has a great look. I finally got to use the Matte box and it did not disappoint, I was honestly quite impressed with its performance for the price!

    All the settings were pretty much stock! I think I switched it to slow that’s it👌🏼

    Nice work. Was shores surprised when I saw “we pre-set focus” and “Ronin-S2” rather than ronin 2. Gear work with some very cost friendly tools 🤙🏼

    @@Keepitcity So I used it with a set of Arri Macro Primes, each lens was about 2 lbs give or take. Unfortunately a set is like $90k and super rare to find. However I know there's a tone of other possibilities, like the Zeiss Compact Primes!

    Thank you very much! Actually it’s quite funny, I used a Rode Micro plugged in to the 3.5mm on the Komodo with the gain super low so none of the car sounds made it peak🔥🤘🏼

    Great video! I envy your filming skills! I want to ask, for the driving on the road shots, did you use any sort of car mounting? If not, what was your technique for it?

    Thank you Mikey! As for mounting haha it was my body hanging out the back of a Scion XB with seatbelts holding my shoulders in🤘🏼🔥 not a big recommendation lol but you can definitely get some awesome shots that way!! I suggest a locked in harness that’s attached to something stable in the car👌🏼

    Nice catch! I actually did that in post, mainly because as I pulled out there was cars in the way. Adding the push in made the frame line up perfect without showing the cars I ended up passing 🤘🏼🔥

    Yee! And it was around 5.6 if I remember correctly! As for LUTs it was all corrected and graded in Davinci Resolve 😀

    I really appreciate that!! 🤘🏼🔥 and I’m gonna guess you meant process lol 😂 it honestly wasn’t that difficult! His position was planned for each shot so all I had to do is distance match or know when I wanted him in focus and set it! Once I set it and put it down I didn’t touch it!!

    It’s crazy! I came from Sony autofocus, then Black Magic, then Z-Cam now Komodo haha and I would say although autofocus is great in some cases I enjoy the feeling of manual shooting way more🤘🏼🔥 practice and it will feel normal!

    @@Keepitcity the RF lenses jump up quite a bit...but for what im gonna use it for, i think the sigma and wider tokina will b great. Definitely gotta try some car shoots with the komodo as well. Dope ass vidoe btw!!
