Have never really got into RHCP at all. Bought their first 3 early on after release, and was pretty ho-hum with them. Have tried various albums since including obviously BSSM but yeah, still not really a big fan. I'm of around the same age as you Simon but the only album I spin reasonably often surprisingly is One Hot Minute from 1995. Thanks for a very interesting ranking review mate...always enjoy dissecting your thoughts and recommendations..🙂

Thanks for your kind comments again Andrew. Always good to hear your thoughts. I think they are definitely a band you either love or don't really get on with. Especially as their albums are pretty varied. OHM is one of their best I think tho. Good taste on that one my friend

Yeah mate, as you said, Dave Navarro makes all the difference. Love Jane's Addiction so I guess that's what makes this album my number one.

Californication I’d rank a lot higher dude. Maybe even number 1. By the Way as well. Freaky Style is inferior to those albums for me but that’s cool if you prefer it

FS was one of the OG albums for me so I listened to it a lot. It reminds of good times so maybe sentimental reasons. Thanks for watching buddy
