There's only one real Motorhead line up so top five albums is easy for me. 5, Iron Fist, 4, Bomber, 3, Overkill, 2, No Sleep till Hammersmith, 1, Ace of Spades. Phil Campbell and Mikkey are great, but if you want the absolute best Motorhead then its Kilmister, Clarke and Taylor. There is a reason that these 5 albums have sold more than the other 18 studio albums, 10 live albums and 12 compilation albums put together. If you only know Motorhead post Eddie Clarke then you are listening to a totally different band.

Thanks for your top 5 mate. I first heard the band with their original lineup but I appreciate the albums that came after also. You're missing out on some great stuff if you only listen to the original trio imo.

As the creator of this video stated, you really are missing out on some killer material. Eddie was my favorite guitarist in the band but Lemmy was undeniably Motörhead. Curious though, did you like Eddie in Fastway? Great material but it never quite measured up to Motörhead in my opinion.

@@andypostema4269 I've listened to almost every album they did, I am a fan, but the post Clarke, Taylor Motorhead sound like a totally different band just with the same vocalist. I aren't missing out on anything, but hey if you think I'm wrong then name me an album they made that is better than either Overkill, Ace of Spades or No Sleep till Hammersmith.

  • @RSR423

@@cdrevival I've listened to almost everything they ever did, but like I said there is a reason that those 5 albums sold more than all the other 40 albums put together, and they do sound like a much weaker version of the originals. Listen to any tune live, and then listen to the Campbell era version of same tune. I rest my case.

  • @cdrevival

Fair enough. You're entitled to your opinion. I have all their studio albums on CD and have listened to them all extensively. I love all the stuff with the "classic" lineup but equally I love a lot of their later albums too. Also sales figures don't mean Jack shit otherwise by your definition Taylor Swift or some other crap are the best artists in the world. Good day to you buddy

Why would you say they get too much crap? They earned that! As a lifer KISS fan since age 4, Carnival of Souls has grown on me for one dude - Bruce Kulick. The Alive 3 tour made me view that 1991-1995 lineup as the most unified 4piece band since Dressed to Kill. I am dramatic yes, but to see Sonic Boom and Monster even in this list makes me upset as a lifer still putting hours in playing the Wicked Lester classics lol

Nice lot over those couple of months mate. I too have only recently got into Krokus...better late to the party than never 😆. The Smiths and Morrissey is another I have never really given a chance to, but picked up three Smiths and four Morrissey albums at a large local book, DVD and CD fair for $1 each. Gotta say, I think I was late to the party here too! Damn fine stuff most of it. Thanks for another fine video buddy, and happy collecting!

Throw those ‘98 remasters in the skip, completely worthless. Pick up the original first issue CDs, far superior sounding (‘Somewhere In Time’, originally a beautiful sounding cd was completely destroyed for that ‘98 remaster) or better yet, get the 1995 2cd versions with the bonus disc of b-sides/live tracks. The only good thing about them remasters was the booklets.

You know what makes Ghost really great? I checked so many album rankings and they are so different. Some albums are the best for some fans and other albums are the best for other fans. For instance look at Iron Maiden (whom I really like and respect), most almost all rankings are like this: Blaze albums, No Prayer... FotD are on the bottom, while Number of the Beast, Powerslave, Seventh Son... are on the top. Most fans agree. However, in case of Ghost the opinion of the fans are so inconsistent and I think this makes the band very interesting. My personal ranking (best to "not the best"): 1. Prequelle 2. Meliora (very close second) 3. Impera 4. Infestissumam 5. Opus Eponymous (you might agree or disagree)

durning this I listened to Villains and Rated R I also listend to all of these a few days before. All albums are amazing 8. Self titled (has great tracks like the bronze, you can't quit me baby, mexcicola, and regular john. but has some songs that dont have any power to them like these aren't the droids your looking for, hispanic impressions.) Favorite on this album is the bronze 7. In times new roman (has a great start with the first 3 songs but then get worse [not bad but worse,] with time and place, and made to parade. then gets better with Carnavoyar. stays ok with what the peephole say and sicly. then the most overated song, emotion sickness. isnt bad but isnt the best. then a beautiful ending with strait jacket fitting. Favorite on this album is Obcenery 6. Villians (Starts with an amazing song and ends with an amazing song. The beginging starts so powerful, and the ending can make me cry. Not actually. But stuff like head like a haunted house isnt the best. but isnt bad. And the evil has landed doesnt sound like a classic qotsa song to me. but the other songs are pretty good. Favorite on this album is feet dont fail me 5. rated r (This album is really consistant, except for lighting song but we dont talk about that one. Starts great with the first two songs and ends perfectly with I think I lost my hedache. I love the screaming of Nick Oliveri on tension head. Some of the songs are ok like quick and to the pointless and leg of lamb. And my favorite song live from them is Better livin through chemistry) favorite is better livin through chemistry 4. lullibies to paralize (This album has one of the strongest 1st halfs to any of the albums with the first 10 songs. I was going to put this album 2 spots below but the relisten was impactful. I also have the vinyl that comes with infinity, like a drug, and precious and grace. no song is bad but there is one ok song which is broken box. I love the piano on the first few tracks and this luluby is a perfect start to the creepy atmosphere to this album.) Favorite is the blood is love 3. Like clockwork (Definetly their saddest album. but its so good. so many good tracks like I sat by the ocean, my god is the sun, fairweather friends, and I appear missing. Fairweather friends is one of the underated songs from them. I love the last two songs where it is kind like villains where I can cry to both the tracks. The only ok song is if I had a tail which doesn't have the punch that the other songs have.) Favorite is my god is the sun 2. Songs for the deaf. (Starts the album with a punch with the first 5 songs then we get into six shooter which is good but doesnt fit the album. Songs like go with the flow and song for the deaf are amazing and some of their best tracks. Ending with misquito song is perfect because it doesn't have to be a energetic song. It is a dark and spooky album. Their is nothing else to say about this album. Everybody knows this is one of their best.) Favorite is a song for the deaf 1. Era vulgaris. (You either apreciate this album a lot, or don't like it as much. But for me. I really apreciate. They added Era vulgaris the song and the fun machine took a shit and died to apple music which make this ablum extra better. My favorite qotsa song, Misfit love but has other amazing songs like sick sick sick, Into the hollow, River on the road, and the fun machine. I only have 1 complaint. I wanna make it wit chu. It is there most overated song. It's good but is not the best like everybody says it is. But other than that, songs like 3s, 7s, turning on the screws, and suture up my future are so different but somehow fit well in the same album. This album is only better with bonus tracks and if it is the othe version, then sftd is better. But anyways.) Favorite song ever is misfit love. Thanks for reading my ramble.
