Nice to have a charger that works. Brand new just left home depot and the thing lights up red and green like a Christmas tree with either of the m18 batteries which came in my kit are installed. I'm EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this. I'm not comparing Ryobi to Milwaukee, but this charger is HORRIBLY BUILT and to get no feedback (a click or a pop or anything else to know that the battery is seated correctly is beyond chincy) is something that I'd expect from Ryobi or Harbour Freight or Walmart. Milwaukee tools are amazing but this charger and batteries are the worst I've ever touched

I've never had an issue with my charger unless the battery wasn't seated on it properly. Other thing to try, don't plug the charger into a strip. Plug it directly into the outlet to make sure it's getting all the power it can. If nothing works, take it back to HD and get a new one.

Will you be getting the forge batteries?

I've considered getting Forge batteries for my M18 Leaf Blower since it goes kills batteries quickly. The next time I need to replace an M18 battery, I'll upgrade them to Forge. Or if the prices drop soon maybe I'll pull the trigger early.

Do you leave the charger plugged in when not being used?

I personally don’t. I don’t leave the batteries on after that are fully charged either. I always remove them after charged to reduce chances of overcharging or shorting a battery
