The biggest thing for me ive noticed from playing on the ps4 and ps5 is the incredibly fast loading times, the lighting and how my ps5 doesnt sound like an f22 raptor taking off. Worth a rerun just for the quietness.

It's not optimised for PS4, it was built for it and optimised for PS5. That's why the difference is small as you can't push the graphics more. You'll see better frame rates and performance on the 5 and that's about it. A remastered version (which I'm sure nobody wants) would look much more impressive on the 5

Im on my third playthrough, one advice if i can, take it really slow, enjoy every little detail, the world is extremely immersive, don't rush missions, there is so much to do, check every little thing you see and if someone calls you, please go!

I agree. I played the multiplayer mode quite a bit but it gets old soon and I don't get the urge to grind. GTA has alot more to offer AND more players so they focused on that alot more. That said: RDR2 now is filled with alot more content compared to when I played

@@robertburch8861 Regarding RDR2's graphics, when I checked other videos on KZread comparing ps4 and ps5, there was almost no difference. In other words, if you limit it to RDR2, you don't need any conditions other than ps4.

Yeah I agree with most commenters here. The difference is so small but that’s surely due to the fact that it’s not built for ps5 and the console is doing its best given the fact. Still, it’s a very small change from one to the other unlike the massive difference console vs pc in which I personally prefer for many obvious advantages. It’s really hard to do an accurate comparison on consoles when you can’t control many aspects of the game ie: weather, time, etc... With that said.... Gr8 video, quite a bit of work went into this especially if it’s done by a single person so 👌🏼

@@aim4grace97 FPS didn’t go unnoticed to me but given the specs of each hardware that’s being tested here, that ought to be given. I was more keeping a close eye on the visual fidelity ie: graphic assets, ray tracing, DLSS, performance differences, etc... I’m accustomed to a solid 80-120 FPS 270hz @4K with this particular game. Most decent modern gaming rig can achieve that kind of gaming caliber now these days. Also, from the looks of the new incoming GPU’s announced by Nvidia at CES quite recently, that solid 60+FPS may be a reality after all in the very near future for most ppl thanks to the capable yet affordable 3050’s which will no doubt be more than capable to run this game (amongst many more AAA titles) with a decent 60+FPS @ FHD and have ample to spare all of that without breaking the budget for that kind of gaming experience. Let’s just hope scalpers and alike doesn’t horde them when 3050’s starts to make an appearance unlike what turned out to the new gen consoles which only left nothing but a horrid taste for most folks mouth (including myself) to this very day to say the least.

Im confused :P also im unsure a 3050 could play rdr2 @4k with any good settings. mby if they go the lowest settings but then it would be better to play it on the ps4. My 3090 does around 70 fps with tweaked almost all max settings and no DLSS @4k

Sry, I meant 240hz not 270. I think there’s a few Acer Predator WQHD monitors @ 270hz afaik... 🤔 Anyhooz, my desktop rig is i9KF, 64GB 3600 DDR4 RAM, SLI Asus ROG Strix OC 3090’s & 49” Samsung Oddysey G9 and a couple of 32” G7 on the sides. FPS varies ofc pending on my setup, settings/config, setup, mods, shaders, etc... My G9 supports G-Sync which is what I personally prefer to play RDR2 on and its silky smooth FPS. But yeah no, 3050 won’t handle 4K but ought to be plenty for FHD and a little to spare. My Desktop PC rig isn’t even optimised for games tbh, it’s designed for UHD post work. Otherwise, an AMD CPU’s would be preferable if gaming is the agenda based on the folks I get my supplies.

Only differences are slightly better resolution and colours

Biggest differences I noticed were some changes in dialogue I had never heard before on the PS4, just a little bits of banter. Just today I heard for the first time when Arthur gets up and says good morning to Dutch, he asks “so what really happened to that girl on the boat?”, Dutch replies “I did what I had to for us to escape. End of Discussion.” And then on the “The first shall be the last” mission, Trelawny talks about an article he read with the girls name in it. Other little tidbits like that. Also, you HAVE to choose the absolute closest crossing point to Javier and Charles to start that mission or you will instantly trigger a wanted level with bounty hunters on your ass as soon as you cross the river. When you get back to camp after rescuing Sean, on PS4: whatever time of day it is when you return, Will instantly transition to sunset. Ps5, it will remain whatever time of day it was when you arrive.

This game on pair with The Last of Us Part 2 are not only twi of the best in the history of gaming, but also an exaple that If thats what you get when developers use the full potential of the PS4 and XBO, the PS5 and XBSX are capable of doing so much more than what developers are doing right now. Next gen consoles struggle to have a decent performance in Hogwarts Legacy and RDR2 looks almost as good and in some cases BETTER than Hogwarts and it runs perfectly on PS4 and XBO. Framerate is capped at 30 FPS. There was never a "next gen" update so it's basically the same experience.

Pensaba que iba a mejorar los gráficos y los fps pero nada, ningún cambio de nada. Se ve como si estuviese jugando en Playstation 4. Gran decepción. En Playstation 4 Pro, el juego trae una opción para poner modo rendimiento o modo gráficos, ahora lo tengo instalado en Playstation 5 y busco esa opción en ajustes del juego y no me aparece nada, solo me da opción de subir o bajar el brillo. El tiempo de carga es parecido al de PS4. Pensaba que en Playstation 5 se iba a ver mejor y que iba a cargar más rápido, pero carga y se igual que en Playstation 4.

I played this on ps4, ps5 and pc. It looks stunning on all three but the PS5 is slightly nicer looking than the PS4. As for PC: it can look even better. However, lower graphics with higher FPS on PC makes the game alot more enjoyable to play. So yes: even for high-graphics, high detailed, open world games I prefer 60+ FPS over details. The game never looks better, regardless of settings. :)

On my ps5 the game looks nothing like this. It's horrible please help me

buy the ps4 pro version and play it at 1080p or 4k for best results.

You are playing both versions on PS5, right? Cause i'm playing on a PS4 Pro and didn't have this quality.

The only difference is the shadows

ps4 looked good enough but that storm in the ps5 looked incredible

Idk i have a expensive More Business suited monitor because as much as the ps4 is beautiful im thinking its my monitor struggling

I already have this game for my Xbox One, and I'm debating on getting it for my PS5 🤔

@@WeezerMeezer No, I ended up not buying it. I decided to buy The Witcher 3, which has some improvements over the previous generation, and I am playing Baldur's Gate 3, which already consumes all my free time. Sorry for not being able to help you.

ps5 only 30fps

it's no difference..except Sony got us all!!

even in ps4, it's already have a top tier quality graphics.
