That’s probably one of the most well made games on roblox. I played that before RDO (only recently got a PC a few months ago) and it’s astounding how much more alive Wild West feels than RDO. I don’t know whose fucking brilliant idea it was to hide all player blips on RDO unless you’re up their ass. I can never find anyone

@@meat. yea, the auction update is making it worse, as the new auction guns are a bit op but good models and well made/animated but very hard to get as you gotta murder bears for a few days all day to get them, but other than that I love that game, it’s genuinely better than red dead online lol, and the developers are super active and soon gonna publish a building update, which we have been waiting for over a year and been delayed a lot. Overall the Wild West is a solid game, very very toxic community but you find nice people sometimes

As soon as I saw that train in the trailer, I knew something was going to go wrong.

Pretty sure the devs don’t like working on GTAO either. The engine is like a building on collapsing foundation. There’s so many updates stacked on each other that bugs are so prevalent and the performance is poop. That’s the main reason they’re working on EE

But judging from the videos I’ve seen on KZread, they do say the word a lot, and they all say it slightly differently. Joe sticks out as an especially egregious example.

@@orbitalbump1705 I can see your point, however, Capitaylay is described as an illicit underground currency. I would expect people to deal in it only via speaking, never is the word written down anywhere (so as to not have any incriminating records). So it would make a lot of sense for Joe or most people not to know how to *spell* the word properly, but as they would have heard it often, they should know how to pronounce it. That is of course not taking into account the tendency of uneducated speakers of English like Joe to *still* butcher the pronunciation.

arthur morgan chad: rob a bank in valentine and earn 2,000 dollars. meet interesting characters. realistic gun and provision prices for 1899. be a cool gunslinging outlaw with fun and original missions and gameplay mechanics. virgin online character: murder 50 people for a fraction of a gold bar (each gold bar has the buying power of $25). have no friends. any human you meet will kill you on sight. prices are more inflated than todays economy. spend 200 dollars on a black shotgun coat. you can find cards around the map and sell some beer, maybe kill people for five bucks. each mission is the same formula again and again.

For people who already have roles this update is pretty much pointless. I think the expectation for this update was the free roam crimes. Players wanted them to be unscripted. only for people to come back to a bunch of new stranger missions.

I'm not actually surprised every single update rockstar have release for RD2 since 2018 and every update in GTA V since 2016 was pointless. This rockstar is not the same as i remember them back in the day when i was 10 and i was playing san andreas vice city and all the awesome R* games on my ps2.

Is just a pay to win shit and everything is behind a trash broken pay wall system not even gonna bother with the fact that i used to play this on ps3 in 2013 since 2017 when i bought it on pc (big mistake i still regret it) haven't play it since 2018 at all and at least my 70% of my experience is just waiting for the game to load in the main loading screen and watching the clouds . If the gta series die gta online will be the only reason. Imagine the same with midnight club bully and manhunt at least now we have good games from the past to remember what R* used to be.

I think so to. I think these companies fail to realize that the more fun the game is, the more "non whales" might be willing to pay a few dollars here and there for it. This model Rockstar has of, seemingly purposefully making the game unenjoyable so you'll pay to skip it is just aids. It results in some people, like me just not bothering. Rockstar uses money made from Read Dead to support online. Same system works for GTA: V. GTA: V is older so it has more downlaods so it made more money meaning Rockstar can put more into online on GTA: V than RDR: 2.

Simple. They put in full effort into the single player making it an amazing game that's fun with a great story because that's what sells single player. With Online, they can half ass everything, so long as they add some cosmetics and bland content, people will still keep coming back and paying for microtransactions. GTA Online is the #1 example of that. People are foaming at the mouth over car meets being added, and new cars.

Well the solution is simple, money. Greed can be either good or bad, bad is when it's taken to ungodly extremes, like making your onlines so halfassed it makes Fallout 76 look like a masterpiece. When you try to market the outfit of a character that the singplayer fans played as, defiling the singleplayer with that stain of a microtransaction, rockstar's games just feel like a glorified mobile game, just without random 5 minute ads sprinkled every 1% chance you're firing your gun.

ngl that would be cool, replicating the blackwater massacre or something. You go to your hideout in town, but then the law shows up and you have to shoot your way out, once you get to your horse, it's up to you to lose them, not a dumb script.

The only good thing is the Dutch outfit so I can harass people about robbing trains and about Tahiti, at least the people left

I did the train heist with a few friends and it took me 2 days to get the 15 shit bucks and the heist took us 5 minutes because we rushed on the train and killed everyone the fucking ride to the drop off point was longer than the actual mission

I want hot air baloons and unicorns. Add the gatling gun wagon from bouty huting missions as a wagon you can buy. I want to buy a casino boat and a mansion. Casino boat could give you 50 to 100 dollars passive income everyday that you log in. Add a fishing role, allowing us to buy boats (let us buy pirate ships). Use boats to fast travel to guarma. ADD MEXICO AS A DLC AREA.

What I enjoy most about Red Dead Online is taking down Gang hideouts, and the random encounters you get along the way. I wanted it to be an experience just like the Campaign, with freedom of choice on how you play. The story missions for online were ok…. But the stranger missions were repetitive and as you stated scripted nonsense. This recent update does nothing to feel be the player more freedom and is the same as what we have already gotten. Overall I think I’ll just stick with playing the campaign with my boah Arthur.

Sadly they have not focused on the Story missions with Horely and Mrs LeClerk for a while and have seemingly abandoned them. I know the pandemic screwed up a lot of game development but come on, it’s one of the richest game devs in the world...

"Capitale" will, forever, be a word ingrained in the player base for how many times they keep bringing it up. Barely any budget exists elsewhere else in the update.

I spent hours and I mean HOURS grinding for capitale and I did the Covington emerald mission which took me over 12 hours of gameplay to get to (shush I’m not that good) And I got a pitiful 112 dollars This is less than what I can get from moonshiner which takes 45 minutes! Cmon rockstar

It takes about 10 minutes to get 25 capitale, the only issue is that you got a hard timer for the emerald mission of about 30-40 mins. Ruthless takes about 5-8 minutes to complete (this is without getting the 3 chest of loot) but the cooldown kills any way to farm it. Forgot to add the random chance of the game crashing and consuming your capitale and also giving you a cooldown too.

@@ClickedTazer yeah I really agreed on the "stranger missions repaint" they felt like the same rinse and repeat content that we already have, just involving more looting. Like we had to hunt animals, outlaws, and fucking playing cards. Why can't we hunt banks in the game? If you know what I mean. The fact this game appeals to that niche wild west market and has no crime is just pure laziness on their end.

It's a shame how much Rockstar ignores Red Dead Online. It has so much more potential than GTAOnline does

Business offices Business assets Homes New horses New wagons New weapons New accurate clothing Ports and boats Balloons Horse breeding Guarma free roam The option to rob people, trains, wagons, stagecoaches and places. However, complaining with criticism is what can make a game better, if no one complained about the past updates despite this one being terrible, RDRO would *never* had got an update. It probably would just get more ways to use real money to skip the game.

If you want my honest opinion, the update isn't that bad, nor is it as horrible. The Quickdraw pass gives you the new currency (60 of it) and yes it costs gold, but it gives you your gold back. I do agree the grindyness of the Cap is bad but it also is about knowing where to look for it. If you do the contract jobs you get 3 cap and 150+ dollars, not be mention the .20-40 gold payout. Yes this update wasn't a outlaw role, yes the missions are scripted, but you also have to understand that they never said these things were happening. People once again got their hopes up, saw people complaining about something that was never promised, and don't even try the new update for themselves. Not to mention the higher levels right now are on a crusade against lower levels, further killing the game by trying to bully lower levels out. I don't think they understand that the only way rockstar, a triple A game developer who's only priority is money, is not going to devote time to a game that is actively not making them money and killing it's own player base. But again, that's my two cents. I'm having fun, and I suggest for you to at least try the update, if you don't like it, you don't like it. P.S, Covington emerald has a internal timer like legendary bounties, wait 30 minutes and you get a payout of .50-60 gold and 222 dollars

I can see it before me with this update what rockstar was thinking. Rockstar: okay guys we are gonna make a outlaw update even though the game is about outlaws and we should’ve put it in the game since day 1 but yeah doesn’t make money so what are the ideas? Rockstar employee 1: lets make it awesome just like in story mode. Rockstar employee 2: lets make bank robberies big with spectacular law enforcement chases and big payouts. Rockstar employee 3: lets make it as grindy as possible with low payouts and the outlaw stuff cannot be done in freeroam with the only thing new in this update is a couple of boring A to B missions with a new type of money so that we can make more money then before. Rockstar: Rockstar employee 3 that is genius they are gonna love this and as reward you will get 1 CAPITALE for your effort.

I’ve never been so excited for an update in red dead, thinking there was not any way possible to screw it up. However, this proves that anything is possible and also proves that rockstar does everything in the game based around micro transactions. Sad because they are ruining this games online potential for money which they hardly get from it compared to GTA.

Why don't they realize that a good game that is engaging and fun to play will bring in more money? I really do not get why they choose the creative philosophy they do. People will always spend money on things they enjoy and appreciate.

i miss red dead 1 online.. riding in a posse, taking on outposts filled with 100+ npc enemies + reinforcements. Riding the bulls around.. it was already a better experience.. i dont understand how they managed to take these things away

Red Dead Online got this... While GTAO got Cayo Perico few months back, which had a WHOLE NEW ISLAND, insane amount of options and good payout. And is now getting another Good looking update, AND IS GOING TO NEXT GEN. Even though RDR2 definitely deserved the Next Gen upgrade for 4K 60FPS and New Graphics way more than GTA.

Well it some what makes sense. RDO is a hell of a game. From amazing graphics to awesome mechanics. But what is one thing RDO doesn't do aswell as GTAO? Make money. GTAO is the the money maker for Rockstar and they'll do anything they can to keep the game alive. Over 20 million copies of gta v were sold in 2020 that's more than tripled the amount for rdr2 in 2020. Also gta has around 80k-120k daily players. Rdr2 has about 8k-16k. If rdr2 made more revenue for Rockstar they'd probably give it bigger and better updates but with how well gta 5 is doing, that probably won't happen.

You made a great point about free-roam robberies having a possibility to lead into having a bounty & bringing in the pvp part of the bounty hunting role.

Picture this: Story mode, but it's limited to servers of maybe ten people where everyone has to play as a character from the story pre-blackwater incident. From there on, add in ways to communicate with other players in the same way that you'd interact with NPCs in story mode, complete with voicelines. And then allow the player to do any open-world activity that you can do in offline, but with other people who are controlling other story-mode characters. You CANNOT tell me that you wouldn't enjoy that. Imagine Arthur and John shooting up a train together, spitting one-liners as they went? Or maybe get the server to take out a player using Micah? Such a simple solution, but nooooo, we can't make more money than we need from it.

Rockstar’s next update will be the abilities to stitch up holes in your outfit, able to wash your own clothes, and collect flowers and rocks. Still sounds more intriguing than Blood Money. Online has plenty of problems but shotguns with explosive ammo aren’t pay to win, you have to grind for that and can’t just buy them with Gold before level caps. Also, in camp, if your flag is up and you are in defensive mode, they shouldn’t be able to target you or hit you in the safe area of your camp. And if you’re not playing on PC with the hackers and gross shit R* hasn’t sorted out where they can find your IP easily and use mod menus and follow you to new sessions, just skipping sessions is easy on console to get away from people. I’m over level 400 in the game because I’m a sad twat and I rarely even encounter players because they’re easy to avoid. But yeah the shotgun isn’t pay to win, it’s just a higher level player griefing you with explosive rounds

@@monsieurnothing46 you can buy the shotgun with money I’ve seen friends do it and I’ve used gold to bypass levels on clothing, I’ve seen first hand how pay to win it is I’ve literally used the starting rifle to shoot him 3 times he turned and one tapped me it showed me the weopan he killed me with I went to the gold store and saw you can buy that shotgun and it’s only gold you can’t get any other way so no he didn’t grind for squat, I’ve been out hunting just for some wanker to roll up on me shoot my horse(with the same paid for shotgun) and kill me with one shot after I shot him 3 times with a pistol, there is pay to win you can even pay to bypass the grind this game tries it’s hardest to force you to pay for thing with real money, ever been escorting a wagon just to be one tapped out the seat with a double barrel? All for a mission that yielded me 2 dollars why waste your time going after dudes making literally nothing for the effort required hell you can barely buy crap because the economy is the worst I’ve ever seen, want that nice clothing that doesn’t make you look like a damn moron? Pay up baby because otherwise the grind will drive you away, hunting isn’t even worth the effort because every server I go to on console is full of dill weeds who want to grief I ride up the road it’s like driving down a road in a Chicago hope you notified your next of kin because 4 dudes with no life and an axe to grind take out their problems on you, I have the lgbtq flag as my pic when people check my profile on the daily I’m called every gay slur under the sun, I can’t even enjoy a cowboy simulator due to some man children with fragile masculinity coming at me I raise my flag and move servers more times in a day than the games worth to me I left for many reasons the primary reason was the tedious grind I play fate grand order I know grind but the grind in rd2 is beyond insane you get peanuts for everything you do while everything in the world costs an arm and leg, the crappy fan base which seems obsessed with making your day as bad as possible, the fact you can’t walk down a road without being assaulted hell I play gta online and I’m attacked there very rarely unless it’s the oppressor mark 2 then no ones safe, lost many a lambo to an oppressor

@@spookieboogi6161 You can't use slugs until you're like in the 30's or even 60's level wise if I remember correctly and the double barrel isn't a one tap broken weapon, you're either a very low level getting picked on by high level people or you're just so shit you're letting people bully you, you can buy a pump action at level 7 for like 132 dollars if I'm not mistaken, you have no excuse and shouldn't be getting bullied the way you are, not to mention you can parley if you find them to be bothering you, stop blaming the game it ain't pay to win, you can buy all the weapons by level 50, and have most rifles before 25 including a shotgun. And did I see you say it's 10 dollars for gun oil? Dude it's like 1.50 each, and if you can't afford 10 bucks worth of gun oil you really are just starting and are just letting people grief you. I've played on both playstation and Xbox, most of the time if someone on Xbox bothers you, go offline and switch sessions, if You're playing to hunt and mind your own business stay in defensive mode and just parley when they inevitably kill you, your little flag doesn't actually matter to them, they just wanna get under your skin and it's definitely worked. I can't believe people complain in the manner you do, pay to win? That's hilarious.

I found out after giving up on the update that even though the missions are named the same there’s different variant for every NPC which is a little better but not that much how was I supposed to know that when they have the exact same name?
