UPDATE: John Swan recently came out and admitted that he did in fact, troll on discord a while back pretending to be Dream. So, I will admit I am wrong in this video on the part about Dream, where I said it seemed like it was just a reaction to John Swan criticizing him. I didn't exactly claim that Dream was lying definitively, more that the timing of him bringing this stuff up seemed like a knee-jerk reaction to John's comments about Dream. I was mainly saying that we didn't know either way who was telling the truth. We now know that John Swan was lying, and that's really fucked up and I'm glad he's at least taking accountability. Still disappointed that I defended him on that. HOWEVER, Def Noodles is on social media gloating about John admitting to this, and acting like this is a big DUB for him. No, it's not. He still slandered John Swan as "Alt-Right" and later claimed that it was a joke. EVERY time Def Noodles says something stupid or fucks up, he hides behind comedy and satire. If this was Def Noodles in John Swan's position, no doubt he'd come out and claim that his trolling and impersonating dream was SATIRE and just a JOKE! This video is still 100% accurate on Def Noodles, but the dream part, I'll admit I was wrong there. But hindsight is 20/20.

He had a youtube channel called "Go With Dennis", then he started clickbaiting and just got worse everyday. He was actually always very untalented but insisted on his youtube career. Didn't work, so he made another channel called "Def churras", which also didn't work, he only got a dozen views per video. I stopped following him then, now I'm very surprised to see this.

And I want to clarify that I mean no disrespect, and that I do believe that there is real criticism to be had about Def Noodles and the way that he runs his channel, however I think that sometimes videos like this are made assuming that the viewers will already dislike the person in question as much as the creator does. In fact, I'd say that that's a huge downfall of Def Noodles' content as well.

I love how he uses "I'm playing a character, it's all satire!" as a defense, when that sentence is gonna be as effective as a slice of swiss cheese against an explosion. Just because it's part of a character doesn't mean his actions are any less bad. If that were a good defense, anyone could just go "Oh, that horrible thing I said? I played a character so it's ok!" Actually, John Swan could use the same defense then! No need to discuss with defamation noodles, just say "I'm playing a character" and watch him demount his very own defense.

I’m glad you touched on the Dream vs Swan drama. I’ve always been on the fringe of both communities so it’s weird for me. Swan has been an absolute angel who apologizes for his errors and is quite vigilant in vetting his information. Got nothing but respect for the dude. But something about Dream has always been... off. I didn’t mind him at first but he more I see of him, the more he seems like an asshole who’s gotten a little high on his horse. Plus he kicked sweet little Schlatt off of his SMP just for visiting, when Dreams own people were saying not to... Schlatt didn’t care, but to me that was a bit of an overreaction on Dreams part, seemed like a power trip. I can’t say Dreams a bad dude from what I’ve seen, but he gives me bad vibes and my vibe meter hasn’t let me down in the past.

The funny thing about the Tagswag controversy is that most commentary channels like Pegasus, sensitive society, or Jadyn accused him and each other for stealing their content, but in reality, they did the exact same "commentary channel" formula all over again (annoying/mundane voice, gameplay footage, milking the same topic like Dream or Vegan Teacher, etc.) "THESE KZreadRS STEAL MY VIDEOS."
