The afternoon my daughter was born the first song I sang while holding her, was Wondering Why as her mother was in the hospital bed. That song will always hold a special place in heart

When we were in the hospital when our little one was born, the 2nd night, she was screaming bloody murder, wasn't hungry, wasn't hot, wasn't cold, diaper was clean. Nothing could get her to calm down. I played Sturgill's "Welcome to Earth" and she calmed right down and fell asleep in my arms. It was the first time I was able to do something directly for her to make her feel good. That moment comes back every time I hear that song.

I'm from Mobile and love these guys. It's weird to hear "South in your mouth" on a national platform and he mentions the church I attended for years. Pastor Glenn really do be jumping those pews 😂

Red Clay Strays are so damn good. It's worth the time and worth the money to see them live. If you enjoy live muzak ... They are a must see !

Sometimes people will play a little guitar during the podcast, so I thought maybe I had missed it. Andrew and a couple other band members are in The Jesus Revolution movie. It was filmed in part in Mobile and the school they go to in the movie was the HS I attended. They didn’t have roles but it’s fun seeing them in a few scenes
