10 years and still watching this masterpiece 💯💯

This is the 9th year in a row I’ve watched this legendary clip, it’s unforgettable. So ahead of its time, and so sophisticated. I just love this video, this is a group of proper skaters that properly understand what devotion to a sport is, sums up skating perfectly. Thx Red Bull for this piece of history

skateboarding is an art, it doesnt have to be compeditive. And thats what i love about it

Watching this now as a 25 year old man I get goosebumps and am thankful to have lived through this era of skating 😢

i'm not even a skater and this made me feel some type of way. the camera's were sick, made me feel like i was actually there. it was so raw i loved it.

Watched this video 10 years ago, one of the best one and most inspiring. The video which got me into skateboarding when I was 13. Me watching this in 2024, Nostalgic!!!

I just keep coming back to this every once in a while. One of my favourite skate videos

Still, one of the best made short docos on this earth I have always loved it and has inspired a lot of my own cinematography work thank you to the pioneers out there and the boys and girl who made this piece of art

The quality is so good

It's the beginning of 2023 and I still find myself watching this video, it's just too good!!

Its been 7 years since this video was released and it still hypes me up to go out and skate like it was released yesterday 🔥

used to skate like 6 years ago when i was 14. pulled of the basics, kickflips heelflips vareals and all that, i used to skate all the time, and now here i am 20 years old. i think i will continue where i left of. first" by buying a new board.

What I learned from this video that in order to be good: 1. You gotta start young 2. You need to have a good back-story 3. You need to be gifted in skateboarding 4. You need to travel everywhere 5. Know how to grind/flip on or over EVERYTHING .......I'm screwed

you got it all wrong they all started with nasty styles and couldnt even ollie off a curb you bulid your background from your skating no one ever in there lifetime stepped on a board and had instant tricks it takes hard work a dedication, if your not going to commit and think about how far you got to go instead of how far you came then put the board down and go to college or any school cause only the simple minded people think about how far they got go.

LOVE THIS SKATE FILM. If you search "skate" or "skateboarding" it's the first to come up and I have no problem with that. I could watch this everyday and just love it, It's so motivating. Good job legends on making such a mint skate film.

It's not too late to try. Longboards are still capable of doing a lot of skateboard tricks...assuming your longboard has kicktails or lips of some sort. I've seen people tre flip on longboards down 6 sets. But if you feel cruising and downhilling is all you can manage, then cruise on, so as long as you're having fun.

Just practice in the dirt man, you would be surprised how quick you could learn to ollie and then kickflip, and you can't get real hurt. Then maybe you will take it to the concrete!

Kimbal Mackinnon fellow longboarder here, i skated for 2 years before i started on longboarding, but i realized that living in the middle of nowhere wasn't a place for skateboarding, so when i saw my friend with a longboard i knew that even though i couldn't skate on a skateboard i could still express myself in some sort of unique way. Even though i have heard that a lot of skateboarders hate longboarders i really don't give a fuck. we are all in the same boat even if it's bmxing, skateboarding, snowboarding, longboarding, motocross we are trying to express ourselves, get that rush from it what we do and having fun

Hello, I was wondering if someone could help me? I am needing the name of a technique used in this video At 01:30 in the video you'll see a few images flicking almost flashing between each other. I'm 14 and want to start skating so badly but I have to wait until May or Febuary next year bc the guy in the Skateshop told me and my mom[she's the one with the money...so eh yeah] that it doesn't rlly make sense to buy a skateboard in winter. I CAN'T WAIT ugh all I want to do is to start learning to skat. Fall on my butt when trying my first ollie and then to try again and again until I can do it and then try somethign newwwwww. c.c

Some of them really have skills but others just kinda want attention. Idk maybe it's just me who sees this that was. I just think it is a lot cooler if you actually have skills. I have a older brother and he's gamer and I'm kinda a gamer too and it amazes some boys in my class and it's totally normal for me and idk what they expect but they look at me in aw and I'm just like 'Could you please stop looking at me..?'and then there are those boys in my class who laugh at me and say I'm a total noob but they never played with me and then I have a girl in my class who brags about being such a good gamer and the only game she plays is GTA V and I once played online with her and it got so boring because she couldn't even drive a car and she had a headset and always asked all the guys for help..like whaaat ?

I agree its good to start young, I used to skate when I was 11, I hit my head pretty bad so I had to stop. I am now 23 and started last year, I run a skate park for kids and can only ollie and sometimes feel goofy compared to the younger kids but I love every second of it!

I was watching this when I was 8 years old and now I am 14 and I still watch this every day. I started skating because of that video and it changed my life
