    Ryan’s also had more severe injuries than most any street skater I’ve known of. Roughly the past 10 years he was out for about 6-7 of those years. He’s broken his elbow so many times he’s forgotten. I think was a severe knee injury that put him out the longest (it was some gnarly set for ETN I think and his leg looked like it was torn off). Guy has balls from the gnarly stuff he’s landed in the past and for pushing out another part well past his prime!

    Seeing Sheckler get back to his roots like this is so unreal. Some people may not understand the significance of this, but to see this man get back at it like he never even missed a beat is so inspiring! Dudes pushing so hard on the gnarliest spots.     the cab flip is absolute fire and that ender is a beautiful addition to the history of skateboarding. bravo shecks, grew up watching you and always wondered how you would turn out when you were an OG in your 30s.     This man's redemption arc is amazing. He deserves all the respect and recognition he receives after everything he's been through.     Sheckler's always fascinated me as a skateboarder. He doesn't do super technical tricks or gigantic gaps (nowadays), but he's always had a place in the upper echelon of skateboarders. It's a unique blend of park and street, paired with brilliant location scouting, that set him apart. One of the few guys that can make a backside boardslide look cool.

    Facts. I'm 34 and still do drops, parks, stairs, etc. Still got homies who I grew up with that still shred tough. It's only when yourself get out of shape, and lose your youthfulness too early. Only exception is a major injury that stops younfrom skating.

    So many years on a board and yet he seems getting as much fun as when he was a child. The passion remains noticeable and this is amazing to watch. Such a love for skateboarding, combined with the incredible skill he stacked, is really harrowing. One of the greatest for sure !

    Saw this and the DOC at the LA Premiere and was truly blown away. Ryan doesn't have to film another part to maintain the legend status but he did and with the spirit of someone filming his first part. The documentary was great and offered some great insights into his process. Much respect across the board!
