    Makes sense that the opener and ender was Fillipe and Dylan respectively, concidering the mind-boggling enders on iconic spots; however Kyonosuke's part was a legit masterpiece I think. The style, the quick-feet lines mixed in with bangers, and all around good trick selection (not to mention the music and edit) made me feel something I haven't felt in a while when it comes to skateboarding. Great job to everybody involved! 👏

    Filipe's skating is so uniform and structured, he has some of the best tech on ledges and rails. Dylan has flowy style, like it's apart of who he is and it's best displayed down a gap. But man, Kyo, he can adapt to anything. His creativity is so insane I really believe he could skate anything, anywhere. Also his style is such a great blend of his own and Louie Lopez's (his favorite skater). Can't wait to see this trio go pro.

    In an era where skate video quality is at an all time low, Primitive videos are always done right 🙏🏼

    Lol. If you think skate video quality is at an "all-time low," then you don't watch skate videos. I've been religiously following skateboarding since 1994, and there are a shitload of good videos coming out on a regular basis. What I'm guessing you mean is Primitive uses that glossy, HD style, which is what you prefer.

  • @BrushyZeus

    @BrushyZeus

    @@-regular-james- I watch skate videos all the time. The older ones are the best ones. These days kids pick up cameras and call themselves filmmakers. Takes a lot more than a camera…it’s not about what you have it’s how you use it.

    @@BrushyZeusYou’re just an old head who prefers “the way things were.” I’m an even older head who actually watches and enjoys what’s coming out, because a lot of it is very, very good. And when you say “the old ones are the best ones,” what’s considered old? 2010? Late 90s-2000? 1990? What? Because to pretend like today’s skateboarding isn’t pushing the limits on both the creative and gnar-gnar fronts is a bit of a silly position to take, if you’re actually watching everything that’s coming out. There are still tons of great videos, and skate filmers. It’s just not your style. Which is fine.

  • @BrushyZeus

    @BrushyZeus

    @@-regular-james- I’m 25, so not an old head. I just can tell what looks good and what doesn’t. Older videos from 05-12 I’d say…which were VX most of the time up until HD was really introduced in 11-12. There are sooo many good videos out there, but the content being produced today seems like more quantity over quality. Primitive has always held quality over quantity since they started their board company in 2014. They keep it real.

  • @-regular-james-

    @-regular-james-

    2 ай бұрын

    @@BrushyZeus They keep it real? Is that why they collab with anyone who will pay? One day it’s Dragon Ball Z, the next it’s Guns N’ Roses, then it’s Bob Marley, then it’s Rick and Morty, then it’s Nixon. . . The videos look good because they pay a lot to make them. But this idea that they “keep it real” is a joke. Primitive is, like, the least real company. Their team is really great, and I love watching their videos, don’t misunderstand. . . but P-Rod is like Mikey Taylor-just a bizznezz man. He wants to make as much money as possible. Is that what’s “real” to you? And yeah, broader access to cameras means more shit is coming out. Plus there are way more skaters now. But saying there’s not good videos because too many people have cameras is like saying there’s no good music because too many people have access to music gear-there are more skate videos, and more people putting out music, but that doesn’t mean there’s not tons of great shit in both mediums. And the VX has been trendy again for a minute, so. . . My guess is you don’t really follow skateboarding that closely. You still watch stuff, but you’ve decided the new stuff sucks, so you just kinda look at it all through that lens.
