Chinese and english recipe/ instructions below :
材料: 12 個煎堆
皮:
1. 30 克 = 1.10 oz, 澄粉
2. 75 ml = 2. 54 fl oxz 滾水, 煮澄粉用
3. 120 ml = 4. 10 fl oz, 水
4. 40 克 = 1. 40 oz, 糖
5. 150 克 = 5. 30 oz, 先濾糯米粉
6. 3 茶匙先濾發粉
7. 1 湯匙菜油
餡:
100 克 = 3. 50 oz, 紅豆蓉
一些白芝麻
適量炸油
Ingredients: 12 sesame balls
Warpping:
1. 30 grams = 1.10 0z, wheat starch
2. 75 ml = 2. 54 fl oz, boiling water, cook the wheat starch
3. 120 ml = 4. 10 fl oz, water
4. 40 grams = 1. 40 oz, sugar
5. 150 grams = 5. 30 oz, sieved glutinous rice flour
6. 3 tsp sieved baking powder
7. 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Filling:
100 grams = 3. 50 oz, red bean paste
some white sesame seeds
deep frying oil as needed

    I really like all your recipes and use them a lot especially the roast pork belly. I have a question, do you have a recipe for chinese pastry, I ate this really lovely red bean pastry made with flour and I would love to know if there is a recipe for the pastry.

    Not everyone video have so detail steps You are a very patience person every receipe have very clear explaination a although your steps might be more but if turn.out to be good why not? sonetime i might not understand the flour name but now i know you can reply us in English i feel very happy and most important you reply our coments not like some video no reply at all. Hope you have a wonderful day at Germany I do have some Hongkong friends but some not there but stay at Australia or USA.

    Thank you for trying my recipe. For using the wheat starch to make with a dough mostly need to cook first becomes delicate texture or light color before mix with the main dough. .Have a great day ^^

    tried this nd it's great, just that I need to learn how to adjust the oil temperature, otherwise very much like the chinatown bakery version!! May I asked the reason for cooking the wheat starch before mix with the main dough??! Thank so much :)

    these are just lovely! can you please tell me what I can substitute for the wheat starch, as my young son has Celiac disease, and cannot eat gluten. We tried some at a Gluten free friendly restaurant before in Boulder, CO and loved them. Now I want to learn how to make them at home. Thank you so much for your video, I just subscribed.
