John besides being an awesome surfer is also very modest & down to earth. John is the complete opposite of someone else on tour who's in the twilight of his career who is entrenched in the "Me! Me! Me!" Mode.

Thx 4 sharing with us on your routine, i picked up some helpful tips on the stretching section about hips and movement on not 5:10 holding a stiff pose but movement and feel it , cant wsit for more inspiration and great surfing vids
“So this is my sauna, I sit in here sometimes for like around 20 minutes. And this is my ice tub, I mean it gets pretty cold so I only sit in there for like 2 minutes.” Thank you John John, now I know how to recover.
When I was JJ's age I'd surf every day 8 hours a day if the ocean cooperated. JJ ate his present age doesn't need much forced recovery. That being said, this is absolutely something he will benefit from the older he gets.

Its so funny to remember 10 or so years ago John saying in videos he barely stretched before a heats. I guess a lot of injuries have got in his way over the years which have made him take better care of his body. Super interesting video.
@john john get yourself some 3mm scuba booties & gloves and you'll be able to stay in the ice bath 3x longer. They are a game changer! No need to have the pain of tiny fingersr and toes suffer, when it's all about deep breathing and iciing your sore/tired muscles.
