this was an absolute gem of a video. Thank you so much. BTW: I switched to manual lenses on my camera because auto focus kept doing that "seeking" that your video was doing. Set it and forget it. Thought I would try and give something back ;)

I'm new to Ecamm. I have multiple cameras each assigned to a scene. How do I record more than one camera during a recording session WITHOUT using the split screen feature? (I don't want them to share a screen, I just want to be able access the recordings from both so I can use them for editing).

Hi Garth! Thanks for reaching out. That's a great question. We currently don't have isolated video tracks. But you could still get them if you needed them. Our recommendation would be to use a piece of equipment like an ATEM Mini PRO ISO so you can record each of your camera tracks separately, and still get your desired production in Ecamm Live.

I am surprised there isn't many comments after the live. I am looking at the option to record my interviews that I plan to start in the future! Can you direct me to right video for this please?

Great question! Unfortunately, we don't have a way to automate this process. You can definitely drop the recorded video into Ecamm Live and then hit to go live (or schedule the "live" and then hit play on the video), but you'd still need to actually push to go live. We don't offer this as a feature because many of the platforms do not want users to do this since it's not actually live content.

when I live streaming and recording at the same time on facebook, I only get 720p video file. how can I get 1080p on record?

Facebook compresses the file, which lowers the quality. For record only, you can choose your stream size by going to the "Options" menu in Ecamm Live and clicking Stream Size.
