Big fan of ECAMM! Here's a quick tip for users trying to send ECAMM audio to without using Loopback. 1. Activate NDI Output in ECAMM (Pro Version Only) 2. Download free NDI Tools 3. Activate NDI Virtual Input 4. Select ECAMM under NDI Virtual Input 5. NDI Video and NDI Audio will show up in the media selection dropdown in ZOOM, Teams or whatever you're using. There is no latency and it's absolutely free. I'm not affiliated or have any link to NDI except I'm a fan of both (ECAMM and NDI). Let me know how it goes! Cheers!

I've been trying to get audio to work and was using various oddball hacks of changing mic sources in zoom so that I would not get echo. A few minutes with you and the problems have been solved. It works!!! Thank you so much!

I don’t enable mix minus on the RCP, instead I enable multi channel and create a multi channel mix minus device in Loopback. That way I can have the full stereo mix on one device and a mix minus on another device at Will.

Hi Luria and India, I know this video is a little older, but I still have a question. I am a VoiceOver talent and voice coach. I just purchased Loopback to play audio to my students during a Zoom coaching session. I don't have (or need) Ecamm. To teach voice acting via Zoom, the audio is important. So I set up various devices on a "Zoom Virtual Mic" similar to India's setup, like my interface (Focusrite 2i2), Finder, my DAW (TwistedWave) and Safari. Since I don't have Ecamm, I didn't set up the Ecamm Vmic with the pass thru. Now here is what I want to get done but can't get figured out in my somewhat older brain: 1.) I want to be able to record my student in my DAW as s/he read a script. 2.) I want to play it back to him/her so we can discuss it. Would you be able to tell me how to set up Loopback, Zoom and my DAW(?) in order to get that done? Thanks! Bernard

Hi Bernard, We're not sure the answer to this one. It sounds like you might need to do a 1:1 consult with LSP. Here's that information: ecamm.tv/46cGt5R

I notice that when everyone goes thru the audio, they rarely show u the Mac input and output settings when perhaps changing scenes or software. Any chance on going thru that sometime soon?

Is there a way to record all these Loopback inputs on desperate tracks for repurposing later? Ecamm only sees the one virtual mic from Loopback, so the Separate Audio Tracks feature doesn’t work.

Hi there! Unfortunately no. You could get geeky with Audio Hijack, but you'd need to be using just Ecamm to get the separate audio tracks to work correctly.

Hi, first of all, I'm delighted that I've discovered your channel. Wishing you continued success. Now..., here's my question. In setting up the presets in Loopback, there is the 'Pass-Thru' preset. Where in the scheme of things is this particular preset being used and why...?? I don't see any indication that audio is passing through. In other words, why is this loopback preset necessary...?? Thank you so much for your screencast and tutorial.

Would Loopdeck be able to take audio from someone coming in on interview mode and then along with an audio interface improve the quality of their audio going out along with my audio too? Or would an audio interface on my end (the streamer) automatically take the interviewees audio and pass it through to clean it up before sending out to broadcast?

Loupedeck is a Keyboard with Macro and Touchscreen functions like Stream Deck or X keys. I assume you mean Loopback… No Loopback does not process any audio. Processing gust audio is not easy to do without elaborate setup which is why even it TV/Radio call ins still sound the way they do. On prerecorded shows we would process a lil bit but even then they is only so much you can do and each call it different because so so so many variables. If you know your guest well and they are on your show a lot we would send them simple audio kits like Samson Q2U ($50) and IEMs ($20) as it was cheaper and less painful then fighting post production. For post processing Ecamm does generate isolated audio tracks.

@@DocRock thanks Doc!. I have the guest set up with an Audio Interface on their end now, so they will call in with processed Audio that sounds pretty good as far as I can tell now. As Always great advise. thanks man

Hi Comic Boom! There's a lot of reasons why you might be experiencing echo.
