How do you like Bob? And who's gonna grab his course?

I started Bob's course after I thought I completed mixing some drum tracks. Now I realise that I need to re-mix my drum tracks to add some Bob spice with extra chilli. Live and learn.

If I could play drums I would… the sad thing is there is a good drummer that lives in my neighborhood he try to build a soundproof drum room in his house and cut out the ceiling his House has been leaking since and it sent him back to work to get it fixed cause insurance won’t cover it and he quit recording all Together… he had to go 110 Percent on all that diy😅… I’m the guy that pays to get stuff done from other people 😃😅😃 I wish he would play the damn drums with me but he is all a trend follower and periphery and prog and stuff and I’m just slipknot and this nu core stuff that’s about to become a thing with the rise of vended and people that still like simplistic forms of hard and heavy rock

@@POGFROGULPOP Great to hear that!
We used to call him "Uncle Bob" when he would come to A&M. He treated us runners like humans. He's the coolest.
Bob is great. I'm halfway through his course at Kohle Audio Kult. I love it. He's a great teacher.
First of all “Recording Big Rock Drums” is a really wonderful course on Kohle Audio Kult! Bob did a great job about showing and explaining everything about how to record and produce really great sounding rock drums. Kristian showed how to mix drums multitracks on a pro level. Really learnt so much from the course. Secondly it’s really wonderful interview it so great to see you guys talking together! Bob also has a great course on mixing modern metal where I learnt a lot on mixing metal music in general. And I’m also super happy and honored to have my interviews with Kristian and Bob on my channel! Thank you so much for the opportunity and possibility I highly appreciate it! You Both Super Duper Rock! And there is so much to learn from you! 😈🤘🔥🔥🔥
Bob is a freaking Legend!! I will definitely be getting this particular course. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
🤘 I love this channel.
I got the same drum setup in gilbert az!
Bob sounds so much like Mark Hamill! I can't get over it when listening to him!
Cool stuff! Just a note on the AKG D12: on the actual drumset Bob seems to have the original vintage D12 which is quite different animal from the inserted picture of modern D12 VR

Oh! Thanks for pointing this out. Indeed he is using a vintage D12.

Yeah, what's in use is a D12E, which is the D12, but with a detachable XLR. I've kicked myself the last few years for selling mine.
Those drums sound great!

They do! I forgot to say the course comes with the multitracks!
Drums in the Dining Room? Why not! I was in Bryan Adams home studio when they were doing Waking Up the Neighbors (literally, hence the title) and they had Mickey Curry's drums in the Dining Room. Bryan basically converted the whole house into a studio with tie lines everywhere.

Even better!
The multi tracks that come with this are really great. How huge are those toms!?! I think it's just the 13" rack and 16" floor tom but they are tuned way lower than I've ever been able to tune drums that size. Massive!!
@KohleAudioKult

I think Bob mentions the sizes right in the beginning of the course when he introduces his kit.
My room sounds huge and it’s a similar setup. Hardwood floors, brick, and weird angles. Totally makes sense now! Great video.
Woodland Hills? Nice I live in Northridge…very close

This course is great but I'm confused about the kick mics. The video shows different mics from the ones he says he's using. Did you change the kick mics after shooting the video before recording?
@KohleAudioKult
Жыл бұрын
It’s a Beta 52, a vintage D12 and the Pearlman 47fet clone. I think the Pearlman mic now looks different than the old version Bob uses.
