Hi Pastor Deon, I’m glad I can help :) The Behringer interfaces with Midas preamps are really high quality, and they also happen to be among the lowest priced interfaces. They outperform a lot of interfaces that are twice the cost, or more. Hi, thanks for the question. It depends which generation of focusrite Scarlett. In my opinion, The HD 404 is better than the first Gen, on par with second gen, and lower than the 3rd Gen.

Hi, to hook up the Behringer UMC 404 to the HA8000 headphone distribution amplifier, you would simply need the following cable- 1/4" stereo to dual 1/4" mono something like this- www.amazon.com/Tisino-Stereo-Y-Splitter-Return-Insert/dp/B07K59P692/ref=sr_1_11?dchild=1&keywords=1%2F4%22+splitter&qid=1610083990&sr=8-11 You would plug the stereo plug into the headphone output of the umc404, and the 2 mono jacks into the inputs on the back of the HA8000.

Is it possible to use the UMC404 just like a preamp, to get better microphone sound, while using the iPad video recording function?

Hi, It should work. The Behringer interface is class compliant, which means it doesn't need drivers, so with a usb to lightning converter dongle, you should be able to plug the interface right into the iPad. However, the iPad won't supply enough power to power the interface, so you will need to use a powered usb hub plugged into the dongle, and then plug the interface into the hub. for noise i just use the noise control on gb, it works perfect because i have the a/c going and my studio is 5x12

Great idea. I’ve also used their noise filter, it can definitely help when I’m stuck with noise in the recording.

Wow thanks man. I totally overlooked that...just plugged in and wondered why my sound wasn't as clean as I wanted....

Hey do you happen to know how to make the Uphoria 1820 into 44000k instead of 48000? The control panel only has three options, 48,000, spdif, and adat. But no option for 44,000k. I literally can't find any info on how to do this. Thanks great video!

You would change the sample rate in your DAW settings. The interface will automatically detect and adapt to the change.

@@Get.Beautiful.Recordings Wasn't able to do that because the internal fixed setting is 48,000 in the Barringer so it wouldn't recognize it. However behringer reached out to me and just a few days ago released a new Windows update where you can change it in the control panel to 44k now. And it fixed everything. 👍

Fair enough. Sometimes as audio engineers, we have to work with a wide variety of music. Disliking a genre doesn’t mean you can’t do a great job of recording it. Thanks for the post :)
