Recon! Warfighter: The Fantasy Card Game
This is an unboxing of the solitaire, card wargame Warfighter Fantasy. Designed by Dan Verssen and published by Dan Verssen Games (DVG). Warfighter: The Fantasy Card Game takes the Warfighter system and moves it into the realm of High Fantasy.
Warfighter Fantasy is a card game for 1 to 6 players. You play cooperatively with your friends against the system to adventure through dungeons, slay evil monsters, and gain gold and glory!
Warfighter Fantasy is a stand-alone Warfighter boxed game! The game includes all the Heroes, Weapons, Equipment, Dungeons, Locations, Objectives, and Hostiles you need to fully explore the Nation of Plumeria.
The core game gives you a full adventuring group of Heroes and a nation's worth of hostile creatures. Each Expansion pack adds depth and variety to your world.
As with all Warfighter products, Fantasy is fully compatible with all other Warfighter products. If you want to build a SEAL team armed with M4 Carbines and LAW Rockets and take them into a Fantasy Dungeon to see how they fair against a group of Orcs, a Spike Trap, a Troll, and a Fire Dragon, you can! Want to bring your Fantasy adventuring group into WWII to storm the D-Day beaches of Normandy, you can!

At least there are no white tokens, without graphics, as in Spruance Leader. The quality of DVG games has dropped heavily, and the rulebooks you put down because they are worth little as learning the rules because you will be using something from BBG only confirms this. Good luck with this title, because I have heard many different opinions. Thx for the video, great as always.

I'm unaware of any counter issues with Spruance Leader, I thought it was a fantastic game with a solid rulebook. You can watch my video(s) on the game to see what I think of it. Unfortunately, when it comes to Warfighter Fantasy, the rulebooks that come with the game are simply horrible. You can't learn the game correctly from them, nor would you want to try. I'll talk about it (of course) in my review of WF. For now, if you do want to learn and play the game, you'll need to download the New Adventurer Manual (NAM) from BGG or Facebook.

@@WayneHansen You are right. What I meant was that on the 8 templates, there were, if I remember correctly, probably 51 white tokens, unprinted, where you could easily add stress or weapon tokens. Simply a waste of material.

Oh, I gotcha. Yeah, I really dislike that. I'd love to see them take advantage of every counter space.
