Saw these guys live once, great show, Mike Watt was prowling among the crowd after the concert in his flannel shirt, sharing exuberant high fives with his fans. I think they did one or two BOC songs in their set. Recommendation: This Is the Sea by the Waterboys.

Please 🙏 do #Cardiacs SING TO GOD. This double album is regarded as the UK band's most intense, impenetrable and God-like musical journey. Tim Smith - the band's founder and singer/songwriter is influenced by everyone from Genesis, Gentle Giant, the composer Messaieen among others. Tim notated and scored all parts on all songs. They are the only band to have an entire genre created for them 'PRONK'. (Prog/Punk). But they are better than that limited label. The.song Fiery Gun hand on this record has (some say) one of the best.guitar solos ever written - its a bunch of multiple cuts chopped up and edited together. Tim died sadly, a few years ago. The fans - are fanatics. And NO ONE sounds like Cardiacs. Once you listen to them - and get them - basically there's Cardiacs - and everyone else. Their music is ridiculously complex at times. The intensity can be too much for some to listen to. 🎶 There's a GREAT VIDEO on KZread called 'Why I love Cardiacs' - Please watch this. Its a short intro to Cardiacs, and how they've influenced so much stuff - and who they are and what they are about. Dave Grohl was the latest person to wax lyrical about them in #RollingStone magazine! It'll be a MAD listen, Hack! ❤🎉😊

This album also contains the finest.'pop' song ever written. 'Dirty Boy'. That song came about from an angel touching Tim. It's unique (truly) and breathtaking in what it does, how it moves, the dynamics, the power and the force are next.level.

I have a recommendation for an album that I find truly fascinating: T-Ride - 'T-Ride' (1992) Releasing at the tail end of the hair metal era, this hard rock album is born from that heavy kind of music scene... and yet it incorporates some wild cutting edge nineties production elements to great effect. Some have dubbed it "dance metal", and I really think the record is one of a kind. It is on Spotify. I own the vinyl and boy is it a rare one.
