Recognizing Day to Day Signs and Symptoms of Coronavirus

DAY TO DAY SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19
Before proceeding, please note that this general overview is compiled for initial self-assessment only and may vary for each individual. If you're not feeling well, you should immediately consult a medical practitioner to have an accurate diagnosis and proper treatment of COVID-19.
The typical daily symptoms are concluded from the study of 138 patients at Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University and another study involving 135 patients from Jinyintan Hospital and 56 patients from Wuhan Pulmonary Hospital.
These symptoms are broken down into:
DAY 1 TO DAY 2
The beginning symptoms are similar to the common cold with a mild sore throat and neither having a fever nor feeling tired. Patients can still consume food and drink as usual.
DAY 3
The patient's throats start to feel a bit painful. Body temperature reads at around 36.5° celsius. Although it's uncommon, other symptoms like mild nausea, vomiting or mild diarrhea are possible to set in.
DAY 4
Throat pain becomes more serious. Other symptoms like feeling weak and joint pain start to manifest. The patient may show a temperature reading between 36.5° to 37° celsius.
DAY 5 TO 6
Mild fever starts. The patients show a temperature reading above 37.2° celsius. The second most common symptom, dry cough, also appears. Dyspnea or breathing difficulty may occur occasionally. Most patients in this stage are easily feeling tired. Other symptoms remain about the same. These four symptoms are among the top five key indications of COVID-19 according to the final report of the initial outbreak conducted by the joint mission of China and WHO.
DAY 7
The patients that haven't started recovering by day 7 get more serious coughs and breathing difficulty. Fever can get higher up to 38° celsius. Patients may develop further headache and body pain or worsening diarrhea if there’s any. Many patients are admitted to the hospital at this stage.
DAY 8 TO 9
On the 8th day, the symptoms are likely to be worsened for the patient who has coexisting medical conditions. Severe shortness of breath becomes more frequent. Temperature reading goes well above 38°. In one of the studies, day 9 is the average time when Sepsis starts to affect 40% of the patients.
DAY 10 TO 11
Doctors are ordering imaging tests like chest x-ray to capture the severity of respiratory distress in patients. Patients are having loss of appetite and may be facing abdominal pain. The condition also needs immediate treatment in ICU.
DAY 12 TO 14
For the survivors, the symptoms can be well-managed at this point. Fever tends to get better and breathing difficulties may start to cease on day 13. But Some patients may still be affected by mild cough even after hospital discharge.
DAY 15 TO 16
Day 15 is the opposite condition for the rest of the minority patients . The fragile group must prepare for the possibility of acute cardiac injury or kidney injury.
DAY 17 TO 19
COVID-19 fatality cases happen at around day 18. Before the time, vulnerable patients may develop a secondary infection caused by a new pathogen in the lower respiratory tract. The severe condition may then lead to a blood coagulation and ischemia.
DAY 20 TO 22
The surviving patients are recovered completely from the disease and are discharged from the hospital.

I'm vaxed and boosted and I still got covid this year. The very worst of it was the cold chills. I felt completely normal that night when it began, I went out for tacos with my roomie and as we returned home the shivering began. I never felt so helpless before, it completely overtook my whole body. I barely could make it up the stairs to get to my bed and cover up and the shaking and cold continued for about 30 minutes. After that I slept literally for entire days on end. Very surreal experience. I couldn't taste any food for about 10 days. The hospital gave us an oxygen meter for our fingers to keep an eye on that at home. I feel so terrible for the people who have died from this I can't imagine it.

To anyone having anxiety over this video: I was diagnosed with covid three weeks ago, it started with loss of taste and smell then turned into stomach pains and slight fever. I didn’t really have any breathing problems, aside from slight pressure on my chest. By the second week these symptoms started to die off, at the beginning of the third week I started to get my taste and appetite back. 80% of cases are mild, this videos showing you the worst case scenario. I can honestly say I’ve had colds a lot worse than this, stay safe and don’t let this video freak you out too much.

Before you freak yourself out: -Allergies still exist -common colds still exists -stomach bugs still exist -indigestion or nausea is normal in moderation -fatigue is normal in moderation -Bronchitis, strep throat, and laryngitis still exist Do a self evaluation before you make yourself panic. Ask yourselves these questions: -Did i get enough sleep last night? - Have i been out in the heat too long? - Did i eat anything that normally doesnt agree with my body? - Have i been sniffling instead of blowing my nose? -Have i eaten acidic food that might make me feel queasy? If you really are concerned, get tested. But please don't scare yourself. You will be okay 💜 Edit: Im not a doctor nor do i claim to be, please dont ask me for medical advice

Symptoms are different for everyone without rhyme or reason. I’ve seen healthy and unhealthy individuals have both severe symptoms through my job and also be completely asymptomatic. This goes the same for vaccination status. Some were extremely ill, and some were totally asymptomatic. Most(95 %) of the population will exhibit mild to moderate symptoms. Mild to moderate symptoms means you will not need care from a physician. Stay healthy out there!! Be aware of the risks and be aware of the facts! Take care of your bodies in the meantime! Physical health is important

help with coronavirus. Speak quietly out loud or in normal voice "God, please make my health perfect and completely free from harmful virus. Thank you." Repeat every 1-2 hours (8-16 times a day) as long as the pandemic lasts and until a safe vaccine or other cure is available. God is love. This helps. No cost. www.howtocallongodforhelp.com Healing can happen on different levels. We're not just physical beings. Consciousness, thought, and prayer is not well understood. We all have a name. Yet science can't identify our name by any chemical or physical markers through careful examination of the human body. Healing is both mind and body. "A problem exists today regarding some know how to call on God for help while others do not. This loving help is available to all of us regardless of moral character, religious views, and personal beliefs. God does not punish and helps anyone asking correctly. God is love." Follow CDC guidelines www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html and Dr. Fauci's recommendations. Social distancing helps prevent infected droplets, splatter, and aerosol particles from entering the lungs. Reducing viral concentration will give the body better odds at handling infection. First line workers are at high risk because of continuous exposure to the virus, thus greater susceptibility to Covid19. "While fever, cough and shortness of breath have characterized the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated its list of common symptoms in late April to include a new loss of smell or taste." Look into foods high in Vitamin C (avoid harmful synthetic Vitamin C supplements), Vitamin D (sunlight or supplement), and zinc. Please share. Thank you.

Anxiety makes everything worse !!! Wait till you get tested before saying that you have the virus 🦠 I was in a car with someone that got tested positive the very next day (a 4hrs rideshare) . When the person told me that they were positive I had to get tested too . I thought I was sick because I started to have “symptoms” (shortness of breath , runny nose) . I got tested a week later and it was negative . The shortness of breath was because of my anxiety and the runny nose is because it’s getting cold outside . We really have to STOP overthinking . I was crying for a whole week thinking I was sick but the whole time it wasn’t even the case . DONT PANIC !!

@@sjh8074 hello there - I’ve experienced the virus and I can tell you it’s different for everyone. For me personally, I started off with a sore throat then congestion and a bit of coughing. For me the headaches were the worst and I felt a lot of pressure in my head and dizzy. But someone else I know who had it said they had different symptoms where they just lost their sense of taste and smell and everything else was fine for them. For some, they just feel sick to the stomach with diarrhea and exhausted. I would recommend though that you take a test at an urgent care or state run center near you to know for sure. Because I thought I had the virus once before(I was like you having stomach issues, diarrhea, chills, fever, etc.). When I was tested that time I was negative so I would highly recommend getting tested. I hope and pray you feel better! If you are sick, drink lots of water, take your vitamins and go outside at least once every day.

I was diagnosed with COVID but most of these symptoms I didn’t have. Never had a cough, fever, but I had pain throughout my body for the first 3 day. After that l lost my appetite, but it came back a couple of days later. I was always hungry and l ate all the time, l just couldn’t taste until about 10 days later. I am so bless, because I suffer from congestive heart failure. God has his hands on me, always. Everyone symptoms are different and everyone will experience different symptoms, we just have to listen to our body. My whole family have went through this Covid-19. Praying for everyone that is going through this and please pray and give it to God.Thank you Jesus 🙏❤️🙏

I responded to well wishes, but never thought to update the original post. I survived. By the time I took the test, I was probably already on the upswing. I work in a hospital, this is showing people the worst case scenario; most cases are mild and will have few to no symptoms at all and will not need to go into hospital, it can be treated at home! Most common symptoms are a cough, loss of taste or smell and a high temperature. Most mild cases takes around 7-14 days of getting better. For anyone with any type of anxiety wether that be health anxiety to GAD please be assured that people with existing medical conditions such as asthma, low immune systems etc will most likely have moderate to severe symptoms of COVID-19. Please keep safe, wash your hands, and wear a face covering. For anyone that has tested positive for Covid-19 I pray you have a speedy recovery!

My 3 year old with heart problems had it first she contracted it from my irresponsible 62 year old mother who doesn’t wear a mask and doesn’t wash her hands. She went to my brothers girlfriends house and contracted it there! I’m livid because I kept telling her to get checked but she refused and my 3 year old had her same symptoms! She was sick for weeks! She waited until I got a positive to get checked please keep my family in your prayers I guess the 4 of us are on day 5! Our 3 year old completely back to normal thank God!! Stay safe and don’t be afraid to cut irresponsible people off! We went 3 years and worked throughout and never caught it until I let my guard down with my mom!!!

Who's watching this while having Covid ?

  • @driftless1870
    @driftless18703 жыл бұрын

We've had it already. About three days of heavy fatigue and severe headaches. Slept for 3-4 days straight. Slight cough. Low fever. Then began to feel better pretty quickly, with no lingering complications. We know somewhere over 200 people who have been confirmed with it as well with very similar experiences. It is nowhere near as bad as food poisoning or even strep. If you contract it, I just want you to be at peace. Do not be afraid. Odds are overwhelmingly in favor of you recovering with little to no continuing complications. You will be back on your feet in no time and enjoying the sunrises.

Can assign with those symptoms… plus cold feet , chills & sweats. Some nausea… no painkillers alleviated the 3-4 day headache… it was excruciating . Slept heaps. Living alongside my 83 year old father… he was fine. I really think infection and severity is random , and depends on one’s immune system.

@Jorundus can I guess? You not vaxxed? Just asking because I’m not… Got a really bad headache, like never before , aches, pains , fever & chills, slight nausea. Lasted 3/4 days, then fine . That was in November 2021… since then been hugging Peeps with Covid big time… and nothing… NOTHING! I want a blood test to prove my immunity… seems not as easy to acquire 🧐… wonder why?

Tested positive to covid-19 4 days ago. So for me, It all started one morning, I had a massive headache quickly followed by a strong fever which went away in a matter of hours the same day. And the icing on the cake, had a runny nose as well. I thought I had just caught a cold or something, didn't think much of it and when I woke up on day 2, I wasn't feeling that bad to be honest, even managed to workout but a couple hours later, my throat started itching all over and quickly, the itch turned into pain. At this point, I had taken stuff like Halls candy to make it more bearable, took Advil as well and Tylenol the day before for the fever. And just when I thought it couldn't get worse, day 3 came... It started with a nightmare, woke up suddenly and immediately knew that something was wrong, a second later, I swallowed. Let me tell you that it was so painful that it made me bend over in pain (pain level at around 15/10). Made it through the day somehow with medications. On day 4, same thing as day 3, not much to say about it, runny nose, painful sore throat (level 12/10), kept drinking hot green tea to stay hydrated. I don't know about the rest of my day 4, I'll keep you guys updated. But I can only hope that it gets better during it or tomorrow. That's it for now, it's 4:28 AM and it's a living hell but it looks like I got used to it.

@@Blast6926 Yes, I am double vaccinated. Now, day 4 went by and the sore throat was still there, not easing up. I got used to the pain which can make you think that it is getting better while it is not sadly. I got a little dizzy too near the end of the day, the beginning of a fever that never really developped fully lucky me. Day 5, the medications are helping with my runny nose. The sore throat is still there but it is somewhat less painful (pain level is at around 8/10). The thing is, when you sleep, your throat gets dehydrated and when you wake up, the pain is unbearable so you don't want to go to sleep. Eventually, you just go with it and sleep anyways. I have yet to see what happens on day 6. I will keep you updated.

My dad is 65 with CoPd bad blood pressure high cholesterol he has a fib and he had 3 long rough days of being very fatigued but that was it. It’s not as bad as this video makes it sound. Don’t let idiots like this who makes these videos scare you to live. Prayers for all who have it and wish you a speedy recovery
