My Mom wrote Proverbs 22:6 in my baby book 69 years ago and I was deeply touched when you quoted it. I love how real you folks are!
I respect and admire the way y'all live and raise your children. May God continue to bless you and your family abundantly ♥️🙏✝️

It is obvious from "all" your videos that your kids are being raised right and not by Hollywood. Keep up the good work and may God bless your family.
Watching your children grow and learn from you both is beautiful. I love how they both follow behind to watch and listen to you and Andy👏👍🙏❣️

Hi, I'm Debbie, a retired pediatric RN from Knoxville, (but raised in Middle Tennessee on the Cumberland Plateau), so I am a neighbor just over the hill. I've been watching you and your family a while. I thoroughly enjoy you, I admire your family and your work ethic, family values and the love so obviously exhibited by you , Andy and the kids towards each other. You are clearly teaching your kids respect, love and the joy in a simple but worthwhile life. Keep living the good life - I am learning a lot and I will keep watching to see what you teach me next. Keep up the Good Work!!!
Megan is a remarkable. Pure example of goodness and kindness. The Lawsons don’t seem materialistic just living life, raising their children in the ways of God. God bless the Lawsons

Homeschooling is the best way to go! I sent my son to Catholic school for 3 years. I pulled him out in 3 rd grade and homeschooled him for grades 3 through 7. Unfortunately due to a situation in my family, I wound up putting him in the public school for 8th grade and high school. I feel he was better behaved and more well rounded than many of his peers who went to public school all their lives.

It's a beautiful Sunday afternoon here in north central Ohio. My wife and I got home from church a few hours ago and it's so nice to hear scriptures being quoted as I rest and recharge my spiritual batteries in preparation for the upcoming work week.
Beautiful video ❤

Brings back memories and a smile to my face of when my 3 children were little and all the cooking and gardening we did in the mountains of AL. I canned most of all our food and we had 3 meals a day and there were no short cuts, everything was from scratch. Life WAS simple and my kids knew how to entertain themselves and it wasn't sitting in front of a T.V. because there was only 3 stations to pick up IF you had a good antenna😆 I too, also made all my kids clothes.

I'm sort of new to your channel but wanted to tell you that each one gets better! The decision you made to homeschool is SO very important! I know it must be hard some days but you homeschooling mothers are the reason the future has hope! You're doing such a HUGE 😊 job! Thank you. ❤
Love that Christian attitude!!!!
You are such a beautiful person inside and out. Awesome video. There is nothing like country life,
Love this video so much! As you said, train up a child...your little Maggie is learning from her Momma while she is that shadow. Makes me remember when our son did that with my husband. When my husband would come home from work and where he put his shoes, my son would put them on top of them, not besides. If Dad had a t-shirt and jeans on, well then so did he. When my husband would work on the car, he would be right underneath the car with him. This same son is all grown up now and moved out on his own this past June, so things are different around here. I haven't used my sewing machine in so long, but we have moved it upstairs now where I could actually use it. I'm planning on trying to figure it out again this winter. Those canning mats are beautiful! I hope they sell well for you. I usually fix breakfast for supper every Wednesday night because it is easy if I decide to fix it before church, but sometimes it is after we get home from church.

Please say that you're going to video parts of the festival so those of us unable to attend may get a taste of what it is like. I like to encourage people but I do worry about creating pride in the recepients heart. Sometimes I do worry about the one I'm talking to thinking I am putting him or herself on a pedestal. I don't believe I have anything to worry about with y'all. You will not let anything anyone says build up your pride. You and Andy are very disciplined in many aspects of your life. Each thing you do to glorify God makes you a more beautiful person. Through everything y'all make sure to give Jesus the praise. Y'all are definitely mighty warriors in the Lord's army. Thank you for expressing the absolute importance of intimacy with family, not only immediate but extended as well. You and Andy are amazing people. Be blessed

Looks a lovely day to me :) I don't live in the country, but I was raised learning the skills. We still grow our own fruits and vegetables and preserve them for use throughout the year. Yesterday I went to My Mom's and helped her put up 48 lbs of apples she got off one small apple tree in her back garden. We "Espalier" our friut trees so they fit in a much smaller space produce tons of friut , are much easier to harvest. Plus they look really cool too. :) I saw trees done this way in some of the Medieval farms in England and I just thought it was amazing. I don't know if you've ever heard of it or not, but it's interesting. You can find examples on google. It's like what they do to grape vines in vineyards only you do it to friut trees.

Thank. You for sharing and may God bless you 🙏
I personally like the stiffness of the clothes dried outside. Love hanging the clothes. And love Proverbs 31
homeschooling was the best decision my family ever made, and we are in year eight of that. The laundry from the line is more stiff and the towels don’t dry as well because of that I think. But, I love the way the sun, dried clothes, smell! and it always takes me back to my grandma in precious memories with her when I was little. Thank you for making this video. I enjoy watching you guys very much! You encourage me and my husband to keep trying to get our channel up and going!

I'm not sure you'll see this. But I've been watching several if your older videos. On this one, you hung laundry and said the only drawback was they're a little stiff. Try added vinegar to you rinse cycle. I put it in the fabric softener compartment of my washer. The stiffness is usually caused by not getting all the soap out of the clothes. The vinegar will help with that. No, it doesn't make your clothes smell like vinegar. If anything, it removes any and all residual smells out of fabrics

She is a blessing your baby girl and yes you’re right there’s always plenty to do in the house always at times I watch ya and I’m still doing stuff I have a TV in my kitchen so this house .,1925 has a lot of doors so it’s the rooms are separate even though it’s very small there’s a lot of little spaces so the TV in the living room is massively big that you can see it from the dining room but the kitchen has its own TV and both other bedrooms have their own TV, so whether I’m folding clothes or washing dishes I’m usually watching you or another homesteader. I enjoyed it today. I’ve been super busy we’re still in the middle of painting and doing a couple of DIY‘s in this house. It’s been kind of hard. I hurt my wrist two weeks ago, so I feel like I only have one good hand at the time till I figure out what we’re gonna do about my wrist. I have been so behind and watching you and a few others because of the work we’re doing it’s almost like a construction zone in this house. I’m trying to get it looking pretty for the holidays so when my family my kids and their wives gather and our new baby that we have in the family I wanted to look very lovely Plus we have not put a fresh coat of paint on these walls in so long it was due and overdue ..
I love country ham and especially red eye gravy poured all over scrambled eggs.
@clarencegreen3071
2 ай бұрын
Agree about the ham, but I discovered that if you make a milk gravy instead of red eye, you get a lot more "product." Put a big bowl of gravy alongside a big pan of biscuits and you're set to go. Oh yes, put a large spoon in the gravy bowl. Saves time dipping.
Been binge watching all your videos. Blessings
