Do you have another name for BBQ/grilling where you live❓ If you would prefer to buy these from me instead of making them, they (and my recipe book) are available in the ChilliChump Shop!🔥chillichump.com/shop

Depending on where you are in the States, people call it BBQing or Grilling. For me, Grilling is the act of cooking on a Grill, whereas BBQ is a specific way of preparing meat and flavor of meat (which is often done on a Grill). Grilling is an act, BBQ is a type of food 😂

I have never seen a bbq grate like yours on the right side of the grill here in the US. Now I need one. 😂

@@PacificGardening Second this description! and ill add there are specific "regional prefrences" in the United States for BBQ. in the US, BBQ generally refers to Brisket, Chicken, Pork or Ribs (and sometimes turkey) that is either dry rubbed or marinated. and there is a vast difference between Texas BBQ, Memphis TN BBQ, Alabama BBQ and North Carolina BBQ etc and everybodys specifc region is the "best" BBQ. Vinnegar Sauces, Dry Rubs and White Sauces (gag) its all regional

Love these recipes, besties in the UK are from Jo’burg and here in Canada my bestie is from Durban, something about being a Brit I attract South Africans🤣. When we get invited to a braai in the UK Riaan refuses to cook sausages and burgers on his bbq, we’re convinced he’s sacrificing for the gods with the amount of meat he’s cooking🤣

Personally, when I make spice mixtures, I always leave salt out because I salt and spice separately. Helps when cooking for anyone with salt sensitive hypertension.
