REBUILDING the $1,000 Genesis BEGINS!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Today we STARTED! & thats what matters. We addressed all the exterior damage on our Abandoned Genesis Coupe. We did a DIY Dent Pull, Installed some beautiful new Anzo taillights & replaced a few body panels on the front end of the car! We also replaced all the brakes on the car with my favourite Hawk Performance setup!

You don't need a new trunk. You can buy an eraser wheel thing for your drill. It will remove the residue without damaging the paint. Then put a new wing on

Sup, GTA Genny owner here. Got some video ideas for you: -Cook the headlights, open em up and clean, you can black out the insides and put some angel eyes on them as well. -Dash: Get an Atoto, get the dash kit and turn the top into a tablet (look up genesis bk1 tablet mod) that acts as your speedo. -Wrap the whole car, watch CK wraps, spend a video doing it. It will get u a ton of views and people love it. Best part is a Gens panels are super flat so it's easy for first timers. It's way easier if you have 2 people -When you eventually bring it in for a tune make sure you show the whole process and the tuners. -When you do your bodykit video make sure to show all steps like what you do with the fenders, people love seeing that. I'm a recent sub and been following this bk1 journey of yours, best wishes buddy!

fyi for the future, you can use a valve stem in a drill to get off the leftover tape. also try some polish or compound to help with the leftover residue or some automotive adhesion remover. alot of aftermarket bumpers do need adjustments to fit correctly so that fit you got without adjusting anything is normal

Hey Robbie! That weird bumper Fitment might NOT be the bumper, it might actually be the fender. On most cars the fenders and hood will need to be aligned and adjusted slightly in their Fitment so that all the panel gaps match up correctly because typically they don’t line up properly on their own just putting the bolts back on. If you guys did align it already then it might be bad bumper fitment, it’s just really rare to have that from OEM parts so I figured I’d throw in my two cents

Just came to say the cars looking great. Also those tony yang or aftermarket bumper covers for certain cars sometimes don’t always fit properly. Sometimes require a little bit of tweaking to get just right. When I worked at a body shop before, we had those issues with Chevy Cruze aftermarket bumper covers.

Just a tip for future tape residue or just really bad surface grime, you can use comet powder for like cleaning dishes. Use it like a polishing compound with water, its fine enough to not touch the paint but aggressive enough to remove surface residue.

Aftermarket parts will never fit up 100% especially plastics, they normally need adjusting lining up or a bit of modification. Nothing you can’t handle 😉 Not sure what the other model headlights you mentioned look like but a bit of a buff on both these and the boot will sort any of that weirdness out.
