Can This Abandoned MARKETPLACE Interior Be Saved!? DEEP CLEANING CHEAP SEATS

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

A few weeks ago I found these Abandoned Genesis Coupe R-Spec seats on marketplace.. the are rough, and very dirty, but they were cheap! So today we did our best to save them, and get them installed in the car! On top of deep cleaning this interior, we went ahead and installed an ISR Short shifter in the car, as well as a likewise shift knob and accessories! The interior is now COMPLETE! (ish)

    Robbie, there are shifter extensions if you wanted to have the shift knob sit a bit higher, that way the boot doesn’t look like it’s all sunken in. All in all it looks great!

    When are we gonna get a multiple angle cruise around in your cars? That’d be sick. Some angles if the shifter. Go pros on the outside. We didn’t get many angles in this video of the shifter actually shifting just the one downshift. Made me think of how cool a POV drive would be in some of your cars.

    Tip for seats Robbie! Get yourself a set of Drill Brushes. The plastic bristle kind work best. Spray your cleaners on and use the brush on a low speed to agitate the dirt really stuck down into the fibers!

    My recommendation for extraction is to get a loose brush to agitate the fibers, then in the bissel, only have hot water and spray while extracting until it comes mostly clean, then start doing drying passes. It's how i do it on details. It does use more water this way, just fyi

  • @codysohm
    @codysohm Жыл бұрын

    Just a bit of a tip, if you buy a shoe brush to agitate the dirt, it works a little better than the brush on the extractor vacuum, and don’t bother using the bissel solution it’s the carpet cleaner doing all of the degreasing and stuff there, just clean water to get the carpet solution out is plenty, just wasting solution. Get another shoe brush for leather cleaner. I only use drill brushes as suggested on seats that are all-leather or all-cloth, not the combo seats, you did a great job though, imo!

  • @Leotheleprachaun
    @Leotheleprachaun Жыл бұрын

    Bissel out here continuing to make great products for a fraction of the price for comparable results.....but you do need to use it properly. Shouldn't still be soaked when you are done getting the dirt out. Keep doing dry passes till there's next to nothing when you squish down or that "under the stairs" smell will stick around....or use an ozone machine once everything it dry to get the smell out. That works too

    You need that round brush head for your drill. Ive seen a few videos of people using them before wet vaccuuming and it works great! alot better then wetting and sucking, itll agitate all the muck and lift it up to the surface of the material, atleast thats what i gather xD
