    Technically you should use a new washer, I reused the one in the video since it was just a demonstration.

    On muy fork the spring is upside down, the coils closer together at the top. Does it matter?. It is exactly yours.

    My new seals are way to tight to even fit in that easy? What can I do? I been smacking it for ages with a driver and they barely budge

    Hi. How much oil will be add? What quantity? And what size is the oil seal. Thanks in advance

  • @Cyclepedia

    @Cyclepedia

    Жыл бұрын

    This will depend on the model of scooter. The old seal should have markings on it that say what size it is and if the oil has not leaked out of the fork you can measure how much you drain out and put that same amount back in.

    but to give an illustration through here, The rebound spring looks identical both sides until you seat it into the damper rod. but one side A. fits tightly into the rod (does not move and has resistance rotating it when rotated B. It fits very loose in the rod and spins and moves into the body loosely. Both provide different riding experience as well, as much as we wanted to re-avail the cycle pedia xtown 300i manual we can't really afford rn due to personal circumstances. Thank you so much!
