Worked at Tesla as a tech for 4 years in Miami,Fl , I can definitely help in many ways . Tip 1: tires are special tires with foam inside to minimize road noise . Tip 2: when you replace the coolant line you have to purge the system properly because coolant runs through the battery and needs to purge properly or the vehicle will go in limp mode

Also when it comes to the motors they do take mobile 1 oil. To change the oil you do have to drop the sub frame along with the motor . You may want to drain and refill the drive trains since it’s been sitting a while. There’s 1motor per diff . Also to change the windshield you have to be extremely careful . There’s clips at the top of the roof edges and a antenna cable that you would want to save if possible, the clips help line up the new windshield .

I’m a technician at the Fremont factory in the model 3 line. It’s crazy seeing the car completely built after watching it being built part by part. The frame is literally pieced together. It’s welded, riveted and adhesived throughout the entire “frame”

Man these boys are in over their heads, but with their drive and determination, I know they'll get her going. This is going to be a good one for sure!

Exactly this... Rich also burned up a battery pack because it wasn’t being cooled. Fire department can’t put it out with water so they just watch it burn.

I'm not sure Tesla will allow someone to rebuild their cars once it's considered a "write off". They will kill your car through the computer system and you won't be able to drive it. You need someone to hack the system. But, I could be 100% wrong.

Love it!! If I built that I’d blackout all chrome on it, tint windows, black vossen rims like the track hawk, and fully repaint in a dark black with minimal metallics or wrapped matte black. I’d love to see that thing murdered out. Keep up the amazing work!!
