Rebuilding a Silverado: 3" Lift, Wheels, Tires & BIG 3 Upgrade

Today I installed Kansei Off-Road Wheels, 35 inch Toyo MT Tires, 3 inch spindle lift and an electrical upgrade. The big 3 upgrade is a larger gauge wire to handle more power consumption. Pair that with an optima battery and higher output alternator we are in much better shape for the summertime with our electric fans pushing hard.

Saw a similar video after watching your video upgrading the alternator. In the other video the guy states that you should have a fuse between the upgraded alternator and battery. Have you heard of this being necessary?

Might have to do this to my Silverado. I’ve noticed after my electric fans, when I roll my windows down or up I notice a huge power drop on the gauge and all my lights dim down pretty good. I didn’t know kansei made truck wheels. I just recently got 15 52 turbo Mac HD on my 05 Silverado.
