The real problem is that this is literally a frame-off process as every nut, bolt, gasket, and piece has to be inspected. And most of it replaced. Their insistence on using aluminum is a problem as opposed to other alloys as it all has to go. If it were a Mustang, a little corrosion isn't a big deal - stop it and seal it. But when it's been lightened to where there's no leeway in the design, that's exactly where it'll snap or fail. And the car as a LOT of aluminum in it. So lots of work and videos to come. Probably take them the better part of a year as the real issues are putting it all together and waiting on those smaller bits and parts. Also, if the clutch has a water line like that, the transmission is also trashed inside. This might end up being a 1 million dollar project in the end.
Man the carbon fiber guy is above top notch. Wild to see him think of something as “no big deal”, that the rest of us (insurance companies) would total out. I’m excited to see what the PEVO becomes!

I mean, they're making themselves look weak. That CF on the bottom has no meaning other than 'make the customer pay for repairs', exorbitantly, so it's pure stupid tax, and the engine bay is chuck full of cheap parts sold expensively (more, stupid tax) some of them scumbaggingly hidden behind fascias to hide the fact that they're cheap parts. I'd never buy one of these. Horrible car to own. You'll never be able to enjoy it on public roads, every asshole will try to sit on it, people will key it, even on tracks you're not allowed to go full tilt, and the thing is uncomfortable as hell. Nah, i'd rather own a cheap nugget, built up proper, no money spared, which can then be enjoyed on public roads and on tracks, because its power is proportional to reality, not vapid imaginations of people who don't really work a day in their life. Tavarish is exempt on this, for obvious reasons, and other people's tastes and choices are their own, but i'd never spend money for something like this. It's a car that no normal person would enjoy owning. You're better off learning to build experimental aircraft and using those for speed demon needs.

Also deionised water plus brine slime is reionised water
Just turned in. I sat here all day and watched seven parts of this project. What an amazing journey to see one this close. This has been so entertaining. I can't wait for the next one and to see what you think of next.
@tavarish, you ok bro? we;re dying for Ep 8
I absolutely love Freddy's positive vibes, you can tell from his voice that he is sincere and 100 positive about this project, even if behind the scenes it's probably a big headache...
I'm so invested in this rebuild.
Dude! You left us hanging 😂 we are waiting for a new video
Best project on KZread.
It will soon be time for Tav’s monthly video post 🎉….
Those carbon fiber shells looked amazing. Just wow.
I just had the worst day of work. Like ... irrationally angry insane customer wanted to fight me for seemingly no reason. Then, within 5 minutes of seeing how light hearted and happy Joey is, I'm back to baseline. Some content creators don't truly understand how much their videos are a form of therapy for us. Genuinely, thank you for what you guys do.
I appreciate you and those who are helping you to undertake this very challenging task as this project will bring huge progress to various specialists/parts suppliers all over the world.
I think there is not a car enthusiast in this world who can look at this and not have a smile on the face. Bringing P1 back from the dead, awesome. P.S. Great editing of the videos.
Did they really retro-engineer and produce that entire carbon body in only 3 months since you got the P1? Seems crazy

A complete aftermarket p1 gtr body with exposed carbon with a mirror weave seam down the middle… one of the most impressive things I’ve seen in all my days

That's crazy. I tried ordering a carbon hood for my car, and even though it isn't a custom piece or anything, it's going to take at least 6 months to get it

Looks so nice! With blacked out windows and smoked lights, would instantly be a Batmobile!

Wow!! Just Wow sir! I’ve just watched your full P1 series (binge) and I’m absolutely blown away with it. What a job you have done to bring that piece of art back to life! OBVIOUSLY I’ve subscribed & can’t wait to see your other builds & the ones in the future ‼️ So well done! 🇬🇧👍🏻
That Evo Carbon Kit is unreal!
Tavarish just took it to the next level. Very exciting. Can’t wait for next episodes.
Wow, exotic car gear did absolutely great work with that shell. SO excited for the finished product.
Hi Tavarish, good to see you are back online - I suffer from the same as you, but I can say it never completely goes away and with the right treatment you can function in the real world. Nice to see you have your Mojo back 👍
This rebuild series just got even better. Freddie is showing the rebuild world how it’s done. The bar is getting raised.
This series is off the hook. You’ve officially taken build channels to a new level! Thank you for the effort
gotta be amazing knowing you are the first non McLaren people to ever do most of this, and the only people to do the crazier shit. Goooood serise
Crazy project and very inspiring! Gave me a big motivation boost for my Peugeot 205 GR project 😁
