Rebuilding A Burned 2022 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR Nürburgring (Part 7)
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Engine assembly is very interesting to me. Its time consuming but so satisfying. Also the engineering marvels that it takes to get everything into specification is insane. Spoiler alert: I have an built engine build coming in the next build. Thanks for watching!

Again these videos on building back a burnt bike are totally wrong in many ways. You cannot trust any parts exposed to the heat. It's putting at risk the safety of others on the road and yourself. In many countries with actual safety regulations that bike would have been destroyed to avoid that. You have also a responsability towards the thousand people watching you and potentially wanting to do the same.

Should call this ‘The superficial renovation channel’ as all you do is replace external broken parts with nice shiny new parts, without checking the deeper possible damage, or future catastrophic failure of vital components… like the front carbon rim - imminent sudden failure if it hits on that affected point?
As for the engine, you should take it all apart to measure the piston and valve clearances, but I don't think it's okay to just plug and play, because the engine is burned anyway, and the distortion of the numbers is very large. And when you clean the piston, pouring detergent directly and wiping, the dirt goes down the piston gap and into the piston....

That front wheel is farrrrked.. oh hang on, you did the ‘run finger across the surface to determine structural integrity’ test. She’ll be right, then
it even seems easy!I look forward to part 8. Merry Christmas to everyone
Your back ground music is so cool

Did you buy one of Caleb's rebuilds? 👹 Hope it's not too serious and you'll be out of bed and back on 2 wheels ASAP.
There is a big problem with your videos - they are so interesting to watch that they end instantly. Thank you!

Dude, you got me on the Super Clean foam. Took my wheels off to ceramic coat them, used the foam with a detail brush in the wheel well area, that stuff is fantastic. I need a case now, I’m using it on everything.

Proud of the progress on the Augusta CJ! Especially when burnt stuff is a pain to rebuild
Great Job CJ ! It's been a while since I follow you, and always been impress by the quality of your job but this rebuild specially is crazy ! I love it ! Look forward to see the following episodes...
So Satisfying! Very awesome Job. 🤟🏻
Coming together now! Great build! Ignore the people saying the bike isn’t safe! From what Iv seen there shouldn’t be any problems atall.. can’t wait to see it finished! Blessings from the U.K
I didn’t believe this was possible but you are smashing it ! Well done fella
Great work. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family. Hope you can keep the channel going in 2024!
Great work always takes its time. Happy holidays!
Pistons came out looking great!
Damn the video just finished like whoooossshh... Good work CJ.. will be waiting for the next one...❤❤
I follow your channel here in Brazil, very excited about this MV AGUSTA, good luck with the editing.
Before you use some of them fire damaged metal parts, id research about HEA (heat effected area) and what it does with steel

Finally wait is over bro upload his best Engineered skill video in the whole KZread❤... I have ever seen
Can’t wait for the full build and the new build So exited
Nice build and just love your shows
I don't know about MV Augusta and their head studs but usually you have to replace torque to yield fasteners as they only "yield" the one time. I hope you haven't torqued them down yet if they must be replaced as you could do some serious damage to the head or block. Please do some research on this.
I don't think I would be putting that front wheel back on that bike. It looked like it might have been heat damaged...
U are a mad lad, keep it up!! Ignore the haters.

Just an FYI One mistake you made was reusing the head studs, any torque to yield faster stretches and has to be replaced after one use. Keep it up, awesome series

Not all streching bolts need to be replaced after one use example volvo b230 head bolts are good to use 5 times max by the volvo manual
🎉🎉🎉big fan,🎉 thanks for the awesome info

Great job best wishes
To get the 210 degrees on the engine you can also use you compass on you phone. If you hold the phone on your wrench at 0 degrees and turn it to 210 then it is torqued to spec. Its accurate but maybe a bit akward to hold😅 i had the same problem once and just used my phone. Keep up the good work❤️

Nice job on that block cleanup man, very impressed. It's crazy to think people don't even try because they don't have "the equipment". Elbow grease and a patient mind goes a long way! Great stuff!

Carbon fibre also fails differently from most metals I wouldn’t trust it an inch carbon fibre can come apart under load very easily when damaged. This rebuild will have very little of the original bike in it when finished I would hate to be paying the bill on this one.

HELL OFF A JOB!!!!!!! as a mecanic i can tell you that starter end schould come right out to ..there is a massive o ring on it ..try to get it removed with some gentle taps ...keep up the good work dude
Nice work. One tip you don’t need to remove the longer bults of the starter the other end come off also and have a oring. Better change now then have a oil leak. Keep going im loving seeing your work.
Cj do you have to test the casing on tiny cracks after the bike burned down? Still really cool how you rebuild these bikes, it is very entertaining and it teaches me a lot
Saludos desde Colombia 👍 y que buen trabajo. No le hagas caso a quienes solo saben manejar las motos y se creen expertos 🙂👍
Man seriously I know that you are capable of rebuilding such machine but is it really worth to trust your live on a burned bike? I mean you are reusing a lot of the original burned parts and I think it would be a good idea to perhaps change the old screws and nuts that hold the frame. Stay safe please🙏
Keep going cj

the new vids make my day, whats the best bang for the buck motorcycle in your opinion 600-700 cc's ?
Hermoso trabajo!!!! ❤👍🏻🍻, muy cortito el vídeo jajaja 😢
Are you aware you ruined the headstock thread in the last episode when you hammered the thing together using an impact socket that marred the threads? Can be clearly seen at 0:35

My man destroying this built as always 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
Do a leak test on the head. Make sure those valves are sealing. It would suck to put it all together and have a low compression issue due to valves!!

CJ every video you should just make vague suggestion that you are going to keep parts of the frame that were in the fire on the bike to bait engagement in the comments. These guys that are always in comment are something else, at least you could use them to boost the vid in the algo.

Jumpscare at 6:46 lmao
When is the rest off the MV videos coming out on channel buddy????
You forgot the starter's motor front cover on the engine block, you should not unscrew the two long horizontal bolts which are holding the starter together, only the two vertical short bolts. This front cover has an O-ring snugging it inside the engine block, take this cover out and check the ring I think its melted.
Osam❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Buy the time this is rebuilt, you will have replaced most of it with new bits, going to work out more than an uncrashed one at this rate. plus not worth as much with salvage title. What happens in US with new frame and vin number from original bike when registering it?
Please give me the information of the tire kit 😊
Would it not be a lot easier to clean down the entire engine in one go before rebuilding? Have you ever found the RRC restoration channel, the guy on there is a restoration god, museum grade restores. I reckon you’ll get some good tips from watching some of his work. All the best.
Nice work CJ I'm still shocked how far you've gotten so quick!
