Hi Bobby! Thank you for stopping by brother! 🙏 It appears that way because of my risers pushing and rotating the bars, plus the weird fish eye effect from the gopro. Had the brake been engaged, you would see a red light on the bottom of the dash 🤙
Very informative bike tour - thank you !

The Trace sounds like a great ride. Too bad I don't know when I'll ever make a ride towards that way. I passed 20,000 mi on the way back from the LoB meet. My 500 already had 10k on it when I bought it though.

So good to hear from you Prestyn! You've put a ton of miles on it given the circumstances! Well done brother! You have to add it to your list of must do roads!
another fantastic video Gus, love it! your roads over there look soo easy - if I ever work out how to i'll video the road around here on Dartmoor UK. Made me LOL when you said 444 miles no lights no intersections, that's like going from one end of England to the other into Scotland non-stop... heaven! Just love your videos, will you ever do a 'how you go about doing a video and mic setup, batteries and considerations like that?' I am loving my 1100 DCT best bike I've ever owned so happy with it. I am going on a tour up to Northern Ireland from Devon England in 3 weeks looking forward to it.

How exciting, i wish you'll document your trip! Looks like you ive close to Exeter, there's a youtube channel called Exeter rider, love his videos! I had to measure the distance myself, you are right, 400 miles to the top of England!! It sure puts things into perspective, especially when my younger years were spent touring Cyprus, the longest distance you can go is a 100 miles LOL. I use a gopro 10 with a media mod and connect this mic to the media mod, i have a total of 3 batteries that i use. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MUBGX5F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Your best place to get a detailed video of a vlog setup would be Life of burch and quasimotord, they are the experts and both have done videos on the subject recently. Thank you for always being there and encouraging me brother, it's not easy putting yourself out there LOL

Miro! Man it's great to hear from you! Yes, that road is amazing and I listen to my music, what a wonderful experience, I just feel sorry for the people that saw me dancing when my favorite song was playing 🤣🤣 I completed the trip a couple of weeks ago, it just takes time for me to edit them since I'm new to all of this. Next week will be the last video from the trip 🤙
So helpful to see your real world experiences…I picked up in your 3k tour tests that you are now up to 6 inches of risers …other than the brake line extension did other connections need extending? Also did you consider changing the bars out in lieu of multiple risers? Thanks again for all the knowledge sharing
@ontherebel11
Жыл бұрын
Hi Stan! Thank you for coming along brother! The only extension that I needed was for the brake line, all the stock cables worked just fine. I stuck with the risers because I don't want apes, and didn't want to deal with the headache of cutting cables and possibly voiding the warranty, additionally I like the shape of the stock bars, so this was the best compromise for me until better bars come along. I know it's not for everyone, but it sure worked for me! Lol, I can tour endlessly pain free! I have awkwardly short arms and legs, so it was very important to make the risers work for me.
