After 8 months of ownership I decided to trade in my Rebel 1100 DCT. I tried new seat, risers, and was going to try highway pegs. On trips over 300 miles had pain in my right hip. Really needed a different riding position. I really enjoyed your videos and step by step instructions on mounting accessories and maintenance thanks Gus

Those look awesome Gus!! Can't wait to see how they work out! I'm sure you've already done your research, but I figured I'd mention just in case- as far as I know, the mounting points for the Rebel 1100 rear shocks are the same as those on the Rebel 500, so if the sleeves that came with your kit don't work for whatever reason I'm sure you could ask Ohlins for the sleeves and mounting stuff that come with their Rebel 500 kit to Frankenstein it together! So stoked to see how this works out!

It seems that the Progressives (Burleys) are an upgrade from the OEM Showas, (no personal experience) but I suspect that the HD 752s will be next level. The bushings are failing on some stilletos, plus the don't have any rebound and compression dampening adjustment.... Setting up the suspension of a motorcycle relies heavily on adjusting rebound and compression with the right spring rate of course, the result is what one is seeking, at least in my experience it was back in the day, I hope to replicate those results with these in the rebel
