Great song ! Powerful voices ! So sad when two people love one another but are afraid to move past a hurt and reconnect. Some things can be forgiven and you work past it. So sad you feel you can't let each other know you still love each other.

I loved all of these songs, sang them loud and proud. And then the songs became my life when my husband left me for another woman. I listened to Toby Keith the night he told me he wanted a divorce, full blast, screaming at the top of my lungs and hyperventilating, I didn't listen to country music at all after that night for 10 years. I didn't want to cry every time I turned the radio on. I thought my heart could never be more broken. He did it again. He got my kids to reject me and they have stayed away, and call his mistress mom now even. It is like I never existed. There is not a country music song or any other kinda song that even comes close to describing this pain. So at least I can listen to country again. It seems so mild now. The first time I healed. This wound is forever. If you see him. Punch him in the nutsack for me, would you?

My first husband and I use to sing this song on karaoke all the time he passed away and it hits me hard everytime I hear it. I love reba mcentire she is my idol

Haven't we all! It's never too late to at least let them know the truth. I did, and they felt the same. we can't be together but making the phone call and getting it all out of me was the best thing I could have ever done. Yes it took me like 10 years to do so but like I said it's never too late

My wife and I are going through a divorce right now. "Ask her where we both went wrong" really hit home. Hard.
