I had a hemorrhoidectomy back in 2019 and it was the worst thing I've been through. What makes things even worse? Hearing the doctor say he wasn't able to remove them all. It's better than before but there's still discomfort. I love weightlifting, it's a big part of who I am and I would love to get back into bicycling again which still is completely out of the question for now. It's very comforting to hear that there's a laser treatment option should I wish to pursue further treatment. Love watching your videos.

Thanks Dr. Chung, I saw you several weeks ago in your office. I am still considering the laser surgical procedure, but still a bit fearful of the recovery pain as I had two hemorrhoid surgeries in the past and found the recovering almost too much to bear. I am hoping a laser procedure will be the final answer for me. Still haven't made a final decision, but thank you for your helpful videos and understanding of this problem.

I take Collinsonia and citrus flavonoids. My hemerroids were very mild and these antioxidants helped. I would recommend them along with the other recommendations such as fiber and keeping your stool soft. There’s still a lot of ongoing research so don’t expect doctors to be handing out recommendations anytime soon. Just try it and see how they work for you.

If you are a male, here's a few more reasons to get your hemorrhoids treated. Hemorrhoids can cause impotence, as well as interfere with blood flow to the penis and testicles. You may experience discomfort or pain around your genital urinary tract, as well as your lower abdomen. Also, don't be surprised if you develop cardiac problems like tachycardia or abnormal heart rhythms, which could land you in the ER. Enjoy your hemorrhoids. I know I do because mine won't let me forget them. AHAHAHA LOL

Dr. Chung. I often feel the need for a bowel movement but little or nothing happens when I sit down, or at the very least, I feel like I can't get it all out. I tend to have to strain and I wonder if I have internal hemorrhoids that inhibit the feces from making its way out. Am I delusional? Note that I had a colonoscopy 6 months ago and the focus was all on a large number of polyps in my rectum with no mention of hemorrhoids. Most of the polyps were removed then.
