I think Buster Blader would be the better half of Dark Paladin to actually put in the deck. Slightly bigger, same level, and has an effect that might make him even bigger.

Only argument for DM is its a dark for bls. Also, decklist is from when I didn’t realize you couldn’t use the dark hex seal effect w/ DM to ss Dark Paladin 🥲

There was a thunder dragon deck back in the day. Even had raijin in it.

Well sadly looks like the majority of my comment just disappeared... due to the "A fusion summon of this monster can only be done with the above fusion material monsters." clause; same goes for Fiend skull dragon/Ryu Senshi; Dark Paladin does work however since it only has "Must be fusion summoned." May want to swap some spicy techs around, still a neat deck nonetheless!

@@BeastBeatsYGO mannn it was too good to be true. Thanks for pointing this out! I believe you can still tribute the hex seals + material tho right? Like hex + possessed for balter. Since that is just special summoning and not fusion summoning

@@Mangosrllysuck Correct, you can special it with Hex's effect, just not fusion gate/poly with a substitute

what's the ryu senshi for? i don't see a way to summon it

I have an idea to make it more competitive... You are using fusion gate to summon monster from your extra deck so why not including gren maju as a finish it off card?

Thanks for the suggestion! I think since it is a combo deck, you want to minimize bricks and gren maju will be a complete brick until 5+ monsters are removed from play. Even then, it is just a 2k attacker. I think Return from the Different Dimension would be a better card if you wanted additional finisher cards.
