Rear Differential service DIY on 1996 dodge 2500 truck.
I performed a rear differential service on my 1996 dodge 2500 cummins diesel 4x4 pick up truck. It's about as simple and basic as a service gets but I figured it might be helpful for someone who has never done it and wants to see it before attempting.

I like your tip on using an old T-shirt to keep the gasket and dirt off of the gears. I have a 2001 cummins 4x4, and I need to do this myself. Thanks for the sped-up video effect too!
Nice truck, I have the exact same one. Except mine is only the 5.9L V8. Otherwise I even have those delta running boards haha.. And I am looking for that bumper

xFrShizzLEx Brake parts cleaner that I had in a metal gallon bulk can. Cheeper that way and I can pressurize it with shop air. That's a handy can. I keep one full of parts cleaner and one full of gas for test starting mowers that have carb issues.

Thats a good idea where did you get that can at? Checked all over my farm store havent seen it and they normally got at least a cheap version of tools and such. Also you can use a spray bottle for carbs im sure not as nice and easy what you got but it will work
