Wen I open bass bost settings. After realtek audio control panel now showing in my computer. Again I disable the bass boster it's showing. All so bass bost open no have audio output comming

Cmd did the trick. You're a legend! At least i didnt have to attend todays online class.

Thanks for this, The fix for me was either the "ipconfig /flushdns" or the "netsh winsock reset". Either way that's what fixed it for me as I also did not have auto disable gigabit... probably for laptops.

I found this video b/c I've been having problems for weeks w/my lenovo ideapad 15abr freezing and/or rebooting itself. I believe I isolated the problem to this Ethernet card, which when disabled, stabilizes the issue. Today, I discovered the network reset feature of Windows 10 (currently running 1809) and since then, I've had the adapter running for several hours w/no freeze. Can you please share anything you know about this issue? Thanks for your help! :)

can u help where can i found a win10 driver for realtek pcie gbe family controller? i found only win8.1 driver.

This approach seemed to improve the situation but I still got dropped signals. What finally worked was disabling Ethernet under Change Adapter Options (I have a wifi network).

If you can help me figure out why my brand new Realtek Gaming GbE family controller will not give internet access with my google fiber ethernet connection i would be very grateful to you! Ive updated the latest drivers and run every tutorial i can find online and still network is recognized but no internet. Windows 11.

@@MDTechVideosInternational You would have been helpful to me if you, 1st, had available on your screen, that which you were talking about, & 2nd, spoke more clearly & slowly, as you sped through your entire narration, slurring your words most of the time. Example, what was it that you were trying to describe with the auto disable gigabit option? You mentioned it, but between not actually having that available on your screen, & never actually saying which option to select, is very frustrating! I tried slowing the playback speed, reading the transcript, but after trying to replay ~dozen times, I still can't find that info. I had to do downvote your video for that reason alone.

im not having connectivity issues (yet) but i have noticed everything loads a lot slower , and its costing me at least $150 bucks a month for the best high speed internet and wi-fi .

You're welcome!

You do not want to auto disable gigabit unless you are looking to save power. Applying this setting means you will only connect at 100 Mbps. (Some of the following settings may not be available on all network controllers so apply where possible.) On the properties tab of your Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller click the Power Management tab, uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. On the Advanced tab, Disable the following: Auto Disable Gigabit, Energy Efficient Ethernet, Gigabit lite, Green Ethernet, Power Saving Mode. Your speed and duplex should be set the same as the switch or router you are connecting to. Most likely Auto unless you have reconfigured your Switch or Router.

For me it says "This device isn't using any resources because it has a problem" There is a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside it and my Realtek driver isn't working

anyone know why my labtop is still slow using the Ethernet cable. it seems as if the bandwidth is favoring the wifi devices. if that is so, is there a way to change that?

My internet is only 10mb download, my internet was to do 50mb/s download. On my other computer it does, in this one I use a Biostar B350GTX does not go beyond 10mb, any ideas?

I do not have the" auto-disable gigabit" property. I am on an Acer Aspire desktop pc. The closest think I have is called 'speed & duplex', with several choices from 10 to 100, and mine is set to AUTO NEGOTIATE.

I got message could not flush the dns resolver cache= function failed during execution

I have a desktop PC running Windows 10 with Realtek PCIe Gbe Family Controller (driver 10.36.701.2019). I subscribe to Spectrum's Gigabit service. My cable modem router is rated at 2Gbps. My ethernet speed of this desktop PC at this location (in my house) is about 210 Mbps. When I connect a different PC at this ethernet location (a laptop), I get 940 Mbps. I checked the "Speed & Duplex" option in the Advanced tab of the Properties, and it is set for "1.0 Gbps Full Duplex". I'm completely frustrated. What else can I do?

This did not work for me, my ipv6 still says no network access and i can't load certain things like plutonium to play cod and crunchyroll.

I have an issue thats been disconnecting my wifi says that ethernet cable broken but my laptop has wifi capabilities not sure why i have to connect an ethernet cable :(((

I have been working for months to try to fix an issue with my Realtek WiFi Adapter (not the family one) and never thought to update my family device and see what difference that does. I've literally done everything short of a factory reset, even reset and kept my files, so fingers crossed that this will be the fix

Omg it worked ! I don't even know what ethernet is and it worked.

Welp, none of this fixed the issues for me, it still refuses to run at more than 100mbps. I'm using Cat5e cable that's about 20 meters length from the switch, so that should be within the maximum? I've also installed the right Realtek driver and done all of the things mentioned in this video. It did run at 1000mbps for a few minutes before going down to 100mbps.

@@ammarrazak1157 I bought a TP-Link Archer TX3000E and on ac WLAN it fluctuates between 650mbps and 866mbps so it's definitely an improvement. It supports up to ax WLAN and also has Bluetooth so I can also use it to connect my wireless headset.

havent fully tested it yet but i already noticed i got full bars now rather than 3

Mine is limiting my speed to 100mbs while ive always had 1000 idk what happened

Mine says the requested operation requires elevation (run as administrator)

Mine did too. The problem is you just clicked on the cmd icon. You should right click on it and click on run as administrator. Hope it helped

Hello! Very nice video and very helpful. But i also have another issue, I've been searching the possibility of adding a VLAD ID to the Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, but i haven't found any program or updated driver that allows a VLAN ID. Would you know anything to help me out ? Cheers :D

@@MDTechVideosInternational Sorry for the very delayed response ! I just wanted to be able to add a VLAN to a my PC, i found out that "realtek ethernet diagnostic utility" does the trick and adds a virtual adapter that is able to add a VLAN to it.

Can you please do tutorials for the Realtek pcie fe family controller adapter. I almost never see any tutorials for this driver and only see videos about the gbe adapter. The fe adapter is the only one I have. Is there anyway you could do a video fixing the Code 45 error I keep getting for this driver. I always have my ethernet cord in and it refuses to connect.

I did this step by step and my ethernet cable got limited to 100mbps rather than the normal 400+ it's supposed to get. I don't know why that happened but I disabled the "Auto Disable Gigabit" value and it went back to the normal 400+mbps. Now that I've done this I'm back to having my internet fluctuating constantly from 450mbps to about 20 or 0. I don't know why this started happening but it's very annoying and I hope this would fix it but it did not =/

There are other power options in the Advanced tab, anything power related, just disable all of them cause sometimes there isn't enough flow of power to keep things running, you might not experience big changes but it can surely help. Cheers!

@Lajbox No need to download a driver if it's already on your pc. You just have to go to the settings of it and reinstall it.

OK this is my driver but my ethernet will not connect. It is always wireless. And I am having one heck of a time trying to get my pc to connect to ethernet instead of wireless.

Speedtest results are shown in megabits per second. To get the actual download speed(Megabytes/Second), divide them by 8. In your case, 20/8= 2.5MBps. So there is no need to fix anything

I know this video is a year old, but I really am losing my mind here. I have an Asus motherboard, the PRIME H-310 PLUS (The original, NOT the Rev 2.0 version). I got a new case for my setup, had no problems with ethernet before the transfer and now suddenly it just doesn't work. The device manager says that the RealTek PCIe GBE Family Controller ISN'T working correctly. I tried getting the drivers straight from RealTek, but surprise surprise, it said that there wasn't any such device installed on my PC, which is complete crap otherwise it wouldn't be showing up in Device Manager at all. I don't have the disc for my motherboard anymore, I guess I lost it somewhere along the line and I can't seem to find the correct drivers for it anywhere. I followed every step in this video but to no avail. I'd very much appreciate a response. Thanks.

My new asus z690 motherboard intel Ethernet won’t go faster than 10mbps. My internet will do 50mbps full speed. Just won’t connect unless it’s set to 10mbps. Bought a pcie Ethernet card and I get full speed now. Disabled onboard intel lan in bios.

@@killerrf I ended up replacing my mainboard with something better anyway, but I believe the problem was that I had NordVPN installed and something got messed up because the NordTunnel driver or whatever they use to connect to their servers did something to my original ethernet controller. I reinstalled windows and it seemed to have fixed the issue, I have no idea why Windows would suddenly think the controller doesn't exist when it clearly does, but whatever, I have a new one now anyway.
