Hey great video! Question, I don't have any adapters with the Gigabyte classification, only the Intel Ethernet Connection I219-V adapter. Would the gigabyte version you sent in the description work or do you recommend using one of the Ethernet Connections drivers? My current drivers have are from 2021. Similar to another comment I only get 5-7 MB/s on game downloads and updates, despite my download speeds being +/- 50 MB/s on other devices. Thanks Edit: I updated the drivers via the Ethernet Connections Driver page and my drivers are now from January 2022. Still tho, my download speed within game launchers is at 7 MB/s. Any ideas?

Hello. For Intel the only option seems to be the all in one pack. I just downloaded and unpacked version 29. There is no autorun. No exe either. No clue what I'm supposed to do to install this. Wonder if it's even needed tbh, maybe you know. I have this very strange issue where 2 games, Honkai Star Rail and Gensin Impact, both from the same company, DISABLE my internet when I start them with my VPN turned OFF. If I have a VPN on, there is no problem. The games are not banned in my country. I have never heard of a game disabling your ethernet connection, but they do. The only suggested solution I found anywhere was to update the ethernet drivers, though I have a hard time believing that will fix it. Why would it work with VPN but not without? And how on earth can a game disable my internet? Sometimes it flickers on and off and eventually it will run the game and everything just fine. Other times, internet returns to normal after closing the game. And yet other times, once it's disabled, my internet is not coming back on until I restart my entire PC. This confuses me so much... you'd expect there to be problem WITH a VPN, not without. I'm sure I must have played them without VPN in the past without issue, though it's hard to remember as normally I have it on. Only recently have I been turning it off more, because more and more sites and services just block you (I'm wondering what I'm even paying for at this point tbh) and the issue started occuring when I started having my VPN off... Do you have any ideas about what the issue might be and how to fix them? The drivers I have installed are from 2020. Auto update tells me they're up to date. But the All In One Package that I can't figure out how to install, is from Feb 2024. I just checked another tutorial on the package matter and they had an autorun inside the folder to install it, but I don't. I'm so lost xD

@@donovanharrell3514 I think windows updater thing is kind of bugged so I just installed the software of the brand of my Wi-Fi router (which is realtech I think) Just look up “How to install and use (brand) driver software” I did this a while ago so I’m not 100% sure about it

Is there something wrong with Win11 since Intel has not yet provide Win11 compatible network drivers? The one that comes with Win11 is bugged and works erratic. Many of the features are not in use: I can read "No description" instead of the option proper name and also the options are missing.

Have you tried uninstalling the old one from apps and features screen, then installing fresh as shown in the video? ps I have had no issues with Windows 11 6 months in. if you are having trouble with ethernet, you might want to go to your manufacturers website to find stable drivers which might work well with Windows 11.

Hey man. I’m building a new gaming pc and a I’ve seen a lot of people having issues with Realtek RTL8125BG RTL8125 where the internet drops out at times. Just wondering if this is still an issue today or has it been solved? Only some motherboards have intel NICs (believe they’re the e3100 Killer ones) but they seem to have some problems too? I’m gonna be getting an AM5 motherboard. Any advice would be helpful or if this is still something to worry about

Mate, I have had zero issues with 2.5G Realtek AM5 NIC since my build in March. I recommend choosing a good motherboard and Manufacturer to get the max stability on your ethernet network.

packet loss could be due to a bad cable. I highly recommend buying a CAT6 Cable for maximum stability when gaming.

So I've got 2021 Intel drivers installed and I'm not able to update to the latest 27.0 (released this month) version due to an error "No Intel adapters found....", I'm on windows 11 so I don't know if they support this OS yet. When trying to manually install the 27.0 version, it says that best drivers are already installed...

it could be possible that v27 is not available for your particular harware version of network adapter. in that case, wait for a follow up update.

If it's a new computer then new drivers are automatically pushed from Microsoft to your device which is why you see that error. This guide is only applicable for slightly older systems

can you go to run by typing run in start menu. then enter ncpa.cpl. under there, you should see the name of the ethernet chipset you are running. check if you are running intel or realtek. There are other brands out there, I may be able to help you if you can tell me the make. there is also a discord link in the description if you want to send me the screenshot. let me know how it goes.

For some reason when I try to update to the most recent version of Intel adapter drivers my ethernet connection won't show up. Any insight as to why?

Nothing works. My situation is mine is a built PC. Motherboard has no wifi so I rely on ethernet. My speed with a Cat6 cable is 17mbps. plug the same cable into my laptop and speeds are up to 36mbps. I made sure I got the drivers, I restarted my PC and still a 17mbps. I give up.

You may want to try performing a network reset by following these steps. Also before you follow these steps, restart your router and then do the following: Go to Start menu > Settings, then select Network and Internet. In the left navigation pane, select Status to make sure you're viewing the network status window. Then scroll down until you see the Network Reset link. Press it to perform network reset

I recently updraged to 12:th gen with my whole set up and i start with a msi ddr4 motherboard with Intel ethernet i225-v lan drivers. i also have 1000/100 internet and you'd think it would work right. Nope it was terrible the moment you start a game the download speed would go down to something like 150 and anything other than the game would lag, discord youtube you name it I got myself another motherboard this time with ddr5 and realtek ethernet and it kinda helped expect the multitasking issues is still there. I'm still not sure what is causing it but i'm starting to think its more an issue with ethernet than anything else

you could try updating drivers using this video or uninstall it completely and try a fresh install of drivers. sometimes the driver can get corrupted while upgrading.

If the currently installed version is really old, it is highly recommended that you do update.

Hi mate sorry it didn't work for you, you can perform a network reset to revert back to your original settings. This guide is designed to work with 95% of systems with some exceptions which might be your case.
