I belongs to SC caste, I was topper in my school in 10th standard but teacher were very unhappy because they were expecting upper caste students in top 5 ranks. One teacher was so frustrated that he said to my father that your son is fraud and he did cheating in exam. I was very disheartened despite of being school topper in borad exam. But iam really thankful to all upper cast people who supported me in my life.

@@SanjayKumar-rp5nv reservation and caste certificate are depend on each others. Caste rahega but reservation hata denge aisa nehi hota. Backward classes ki caste bhi hatao, reservation log lena hi chod denge. If a backward class is bullied by the upper class that's doesn't make any sense.

I am a general caste boy my father has chai and vadapav ki dukaan he works his ass of 15 x 7. I got 88 percent in tenth but failed to get in good collage just by 1 percent. Whereas a friend of mine with sc caste got in with the same amount of percentage. Dont i deserve education from good collage just like so called backward classes. We are the vicyims here

So you didn't get admission coz general category kids have high iq and you are average compared to other general kids. The reservation excludes Brahmins in areas in which they are under-represented such as education and employment. Brahmins oppose reservation to achieve goals such as bridging inequalities in employment and pay, increasing access to education, and redressing existing injustices, prejudices or obstacles against Brahmins. The reservation purely targets the Brahmins by discouraging them for increased participation. Brahmin drawback is the societal drawback that disadvantages Brahmin people over non-Brahmin people in societies, if they are under the same social, political, or economic circumstances. Current innocent Brahmin people must not bear a collective responsibility for the harm which had resulted from historical casteist treatment of people belonging to other groups. Discrimination against any individual on the basis of their Brahmin origin is unjustified. Reservation is discriminatory, discarded meritocracy and is driven by lower caste vote-bank politics.

Being from a SC community,I cracked a Govt. Exam in 2009 in Open , never choose any SC form in Job, always compete for OPEN merit. But ultimately at work my reporting officer came to know about my cast, my APARs were deliberately given less marks than my peers , now I am 4 years behind my batch in promotion, even my junior batch is 1 year ahead of me. Once my reporting officer suggested to me that you should've chosen SC in the job form. You said it rightly that Jati kabhi Jati Nahee .. Forms of Discrimination change , untochabilty is now replaced by others Modern forms of Discrimination where nothing in laws against these new forms. If your boss, who is a well qualified person is discriminating on the basis of caste , what we can expect from others . Still I love my friends from the upper caste from school time in Jammu and Kashmir, in who's company I never felt that there is a caste system. It was only after I joined my Government job that I realised the harsh reality of the caste system.. I am Still hopeful that India will come out of it strongly

True, one of my cousin has applied for a PhD and he scored way above cutoffs and exceptionally higher than his fellow mates in written exams yet he was given extremely lesser marks in interview, even lower than one of the girl who got less marks than him in written Such things happening ones or twice could be said as "not good in interview" but this Pattern is repeating every now and then

I’m one of the kid’s even if my parents earn good it doesn’t mean it will remove the discrimination i face in my social group. Though your point is agreeable.

Caste is not the right criteria to select people for reservation in now a days. Because I have seen alot of general caste people are living worse life than SC/ST. So the reservation will never going to stop caste system however it leads to the hate among these communities. The best way to tackle this issue is to remove the whole caste system from the constitution, make hard punishment law against people practicing untouchability or similar practices. In this case everyone will have equal chance in everything and there will be no need of any reservations.

My friend is SC his father is MBBS MD Dr... He took admission in pvt. Mbbs With a score of 435 only development fees for him there and now enjoying his life... I being a general candidate my father is shopkeeper and i'm studying bams paying 1.5 lakh every year score was 514 in neet 2021 .... 😅 still I don't blame reservation... I know God won't let me down ever... ❤

I am 16 year old and passed out 10th class now i am preparing for a enterance test and i am from general category and in my academy a sc student is also preparing and 50% seats are reserved but he is economically way stronger than me and also have access to resources and it is like confirmed that he will be selected and I have like 50% less chances of getting a seat now i am frustrated now decision is yours think about it is it good ? 🙏

As a SC woman, I have faced many problems, but thanks to our constitution, I have stood strong because of its provisions.

Basic Education is free for all but scholarship is for SC ST and OBC

One major problem with reservation is, it increase the gap between developed and undeveloped SCs/STs. Those who are developed are using them for eternity but those who are not undeveloped are at same worse poverty condition.

@@adityaawasthi7221 it depends where you live, if you are living in big cities like Delhi, Mumbai. so you might wont see such thing directly, people dont talk about this openly but inside they do. best example given by @mowmimandal1373, but if see the ground of India, like villages people blindly follow this things. you can also check how many cases are filed on this daily basis and these data depicts only those cases which taken to the police. Rest most of time it has been seen that they dont file case in the fear of being separated by the upper caste form the village.

I am against the caste system and reservation🥺. So we should make caste free society, but politicians want the castism to continue for their votes. We know that caste based discrimination still exists in India but reservation is not the solution for that.... My friend (vikas) belongs to SC category , he lives a normal life and is financially well. Than why should he get the reservation ?? Solution POV: Govt. can consider every citizen of India as the general category in their aadhar card, birth certificate etc. Individual belonging to any community or religion ☯️ will remain in general category. As they all are equal.

The reservation excludes Brahmins in areas in which they are under-represented such as education and employment. Brahmins oppose reservation to achieve goals such as bridging inequalities in employment and pay, increasing access to education, and redressing existing injustices, prejudices or obstacles against Brahmins. The reservation purely targets the Brahmins by discouraging them for increased participation. Brahmin drawback is the societal drawback that disadvantages Brahmin people over non-Brahmin people in societies, if they are under the same social, political, or economic circumstances. Current innocent Brahmin people must not bear a collective responsibility for the harm which had resulted from historical casteist treatment of people belonging to other groups. Discrimination against any individual on the basis of their Brahmin origin is unjustified. Reservation is discriminatory, discarded meritocracy and is driven by lower caste vote-bank politics.

All good jobs are still held by FC. A BC earns 3 to 4 times less than FC. Point is the number of jobs available equate to the number that are filled by the FC. The BC jobs are created for representation. Even after 75 yrs of independence per capita income is still under 500$. SO what kind of productivity was accomplished by the FC geniuses??? Income is Worse than countries like Taiwan, Thailand and many other SE Asian countries that are in the thousands. Some in the range of 6000 $ and more since early 90s. That is 30 years ago. And India is still not catching up in 2023. And you want to clamor for the silly jobs of the OBCs? I clearly see the difference in salaries in India. If a BC earns 4 lakhs the FC with same qualifications earns 12 - 16 lakhs.

I live in a metro city . I have never and never seen any of my schoolmates doing discrimination against other students. Even the head boy was from SC category. So the question is whether reservation should be given to whole population of backward class or just the ones who actually need it.

The best way to dismantle reservation policy is to make the government sector a private sector.😊 The people who has absolute political power already did this.😮 When the people from the majority classes from the village started to take education, the already well educated and politically established class started privatisation.😅 Today most of the government sector converted into private sector.🎉 But this also makes the general category gets suffer because the government seats of reserved category goes to private also at the same time seats for general category also goes to private sector.😅 The government seats are being smaller in numbers so there value is being bigger.😂 So to get the government post, SC and ST have reservation in proportion with their population. OBC has 27% for the 52% population. And general category also has to struggle for seats. In general category, who is in majority in general suffer more compare to the minority in general 😢 Ex If there are 50 seats for reserved category then 50 seats for general category also. Ok. You know in general category there are minority like Brahmins, Jains, Sikhs etc. And majority in general category like Rajput, Patel, Marathas etc.Ok. Now you see, the distribution of seats between minority and majority in general category. Assume equal distribution, 25 seats for minority in general category and 25 seats for majority in general category.😊😊 Now the population of minority in general category is very easily accomodated in government sector. But in case of majority in general category could not be accomodated in government sector because of their greater numbers.😮 Now the angry and unsatisfied and unemployed general class march to find the reason behind their suffering 😊 The well established and most popular reason is the the reservation.😅 This will be or will not be the real reason of the suffering of the people. It's depends on your observations and your research.😊OK If it's the real reason then the suffering of the people will vanish.😊 But if not, then what will be the future plan and policy to solve the suffering of the people.😊 Best of luck for your suffering gets lots quickly as soon as possible.😊😊😊

The reservation excludes Brahmins in areas in which they are under-represented such as education and employment. Brahmins oppose reservation to achieve goals such as bridging inequalities in employment and pay, increasing access to education, and redressing existing injustices, prejudices or obstacles against Brahmins. The reservation purely targets the Brahmins by discouraging them for increased participation. Brahmin drawback is the societal drawback that disadvantages Brahmin people over non-Brahmin people in societies, if they are under the same social, political, or economic circumstances. Current innocent Brahmin people must not bear a collective responsibility for the harm which had resulted from historical casteist treatment of people belonging to other groups. Discrimination against any individual on the basis of their Brahmin origin is unjustified. Reservation is discriminatory, discarded meritocracy and is driven by lower caste vote-bank politics.

Yes there is harm definitely. It is the unwanted result, but imagine a world where there is no reservation. Most jobs including doctors and teachers will go to people who are upper caste and surely they will be discriminating. Imagine then if those teachers refuse to teach lower caste people. Imagine doctors refusing treatment to lower caste people. The harm done them would be far greater than this. India will go 1000 years behind. So a little harm for a greater good is the motive. No one wants to harm anyone. But surely some need to be saved brother.

I'm ST and I was in hostel there was girl older than me who keep saying things like 'people from your community keep taking opportunities away from us' (she was a rajput) her father was a business man. She would even badmouth our community calling us gavar and all and when I tried to cofront her to the warden(she was a brahmin) the warden said 'whatever she said there was nothing wrong' and then they would together do the bullying verbally the warden won't let me get anywhere near her....*not like wanted to* but they both were so dcriminating against us 😞

I'm also ST. I got my college admission in general procedure still my classmate thinks that I used ST quota. I'm little bit light skinned when I tell someone that I'm from ST category they said " you don't look like them " I had a one friend who didn't know my caste. he thought that I'm from upper caste. Until Someone told him that I'm ST. from that day he treated me defferent. One of my professor is Brahmin. He call my surname in very derogatory manner when he is in classroom. These are just current experiences. I didn't even told my past experiences. There are so many.

My childhood friend is from ST, I never even thought about it, I knew it since we were kids, but now at the age of 18 going for College admission it just seems totally unfair that a person who is likely richer than me and has had the same education as me (we were in the same school) had an advantage just because he was from ST class. It just made me a bit angry at him, same goes with reservations for females in IITs, it's infuriating. Reservation for me at least just reminded me of our caste differences, and its effects. Caste shouldn't be something one thinks about on day to day basis. But precisely because of reservation, I am made to think about it.

Being from the unreserved categories, I do agree to all of your points. Basically when you said, people from the backward classes aren't aware enough of the facilities constitution is providing to them, they are still in their villages, doing their wages, not educating themselves due to various unavoidable reasons. Whereas on the other hand, the people who are aware enough they are utilising all the facilities in a fruitful manner. But when I came to know that the economical backgrounds of some students is too good, still they enjoy all the heavy scholarships from Govt. after creating fake income certificate of parents. And what's shameful is that Govt. is unable to cross-check. Nowadays, needy people of backward categories are remaining backward only due to lack of awareness. Whereas some cunning people are doing this. This bothers me so much.

I belongs to ST category. When I was doing my 12th me and one of my friend we both went to our friend house who is from upper caste and her parents were asking our name which is normal, so we both introduced ourself from our 1st name and they are like no no we want to know your full name. So we both introduced ourself in our full name and the reaction of her parents was like : Ooo you both are ST people and they were staring us in disgusted way and asked us to leave. It's really hurt how till people are not accepting us.

As as Brahmin I agree to you Nitish that discrimination still exists. Reservation on Economic ground also given as EWS .I think Reservation topic should be avoided now since everyone is getting Reservation and It should continue till discrimination exist. If I share my experience.whenever I go to Rajput Village near me even old people ..Stand up for me who are elder in age...Richer than us..Huts because they respect Brahmins. Even whenever I go to Dalit Village then also they respect a lot and they say we respect you because your grand father used to support entire lower caste people. As a Brahmin I may feel good that they still respect me for being upper caste.But if think with liberal thought then it's cast which making me superiors. I stay in Mumbai and many Dalit frnd shared tiffin with me in school .I never found anything wrong. To get respect we need to give respect.thats how castism will vanish

And this is the reason even in top IITs professors from lower caste get discriminated. Two things can't go together -either you should consider everyone as equal or if you can't give everyone the same social respect than let them get reservation.

Brahmins oppose reservation to achieve goals such as bridging inequalities in employment and pay, increasing access to education, and redressing existing injustices, prejudices or obstacles against Brahmins. The reservation purely targets the Brahmins by discouraging them for increased participation. Brahmin drawback is the societal drawback that disadvantages Brahmin people over non-Brahmin people in societies, if they are under the same social, political, or economic circumstances. Current innocent Brahmin people must not bear a collective responsibility for the harm which had resulted from historical casteist treatment of people belonging to other groups. Discrimination against any individual on the basis of their Brahmin origin is unjustified. Reservation is discriminatory, discarded meritocracy and is driven by lower caste vote-bank politics.

@@RahulSingh-390 I am a rajput too and its a reality, its a fact that SCs and STs are oppressed historically. reservation should be there for them, but reservation should not been given horizontally to general women. Also, EWS shouldnt be there plus dominant OBCs shouldnt get reservation.

This is the best explanation on the caste based reservation so far. It may be the only video that has taken social aspect into consideration and pointed out that money doesn't break the caste hierarchy.

Money does break caste. How many rich backward caste individuals are doing menial jobs? It is these people who are taking undue advantage of the priority given for the more downtrodden among their own community

@@musicmysoulandlife Who is exactly rich in india? most of the sc st are doing government jobs and jobs in private sector which gives salary of middle class , you will get rich only if you do buisness or high level private jobs but you will not find any sc st person doing that. So the competition is between sc st for the given seats in reservation . By the same logic as yours in ews reservation a person who is poorer than the other one and if both are in ews category , the slightly richer person is taking advantage of ews reservation ........

You earned my respect when you said ' Jab aap kisi ko bolte ho ki tu SC ya ST nahi lagta, tab aapki upbringing kaisi h dikh jati hai" I have seen this a lot. I hate people who do this. Nobody acknowledged it on a bigger platform but you for me.

And even wen i got posted on a govt job.... And even today wen new person got posted at my school.... All hav same mindset.... Means they hadnt seen educated muslims yet.. or they hav a wrong image of muslims

You are right though but ultimately at the end, No upper class or No lower class should suffer or criticise each other due to any personal suffering.. Laws/ Policies should be implemented in such a manner that need or feel of caste reservation would become just a thing rather than necessity !!

I thought you are partially correct because all the board toppers in my school are actually generals including me. But I thought that government should conduct caste census to discover the ground reality.

70 years is only 2 to 3 generations...most the lower caste people didn't even know how tk utilise the provisions of reservation for the first couple of generations... Casteism has been around for 1000s of years and it is still strong, how can you expect it's effects to go away within just 70 years...

He earned my respect...the way he served this matter among us is just awesome...the example of family, I'll use in my Mains writing Test (social issues) .

tell me how many years we need for reservation system ? 1. its already 80 years generational change is nearly 20 years in which a child can become working force 2. reservation is for 20 seat but reservation is 60 percent 3. many lower caste people are very rich .my dad was government employer and had maruti suzuki where as person of same scale in government has mercedes explain this now / 4. it ok if you want to give same baseline to different caste people but why lower caste people get instant promotion whereas general people didnt get easy promotion. General caste person of high caliber doesnt get promoted in government entities explain me ? 5. reservation should be income based . because it uses benefits to improve your economic powers in long and short term well if lower caste person is rich how can you even stop hate towards him by reservation which literally has only motive to improve your economic life nothing else . You cant change your image in society for a nazi by money if you are a jew how you get my point

Fake sc st cases on general people. 2.reverse jaativaad in urban areas of india especially against innocent brahmans.e.g. (jnu brahman baniya bharat chhodo case). 3.hypocrisy on reservation of muslims and christians . Inn logon ne bhi 1200 saal tk india ko tbaah kiya h 4. Condition of poor general caste people .POOR general caste k situation aur opportunities bhi naa k barabar hoti h jobs ki so they must need reservation (so EWS income limit must be 2 lacs and past 7 yrs bank statement or ITR) 5.Misuse of caste reservation .there must be cap of financial ability otherwise rich sc st guys never let marginalised sc st people to get reservation. Keep remember money means power so after 2 generation rich sc st obc guy has to stop reservation. 6.in villages most sc st family do not want to get higher education kehte h aage pdh k kya hoga isse badiya khudka dukaan pr baithega but vhin UC waale hmesha higher education pr dhyaan dete h jitna ho ske to condition kiska achha hoga 7. Issue of quality degradation of our country in various sectors .that's why sc st obc ko extra training aur extra pdhaai k provisions hone chahiye. Jisse desh k km se km nuksaan ho.
