I am practicing Ayurvedic and Naturopathic Physician for the last 44 years in USA. I do not use any glasses at age of 66 neither for near or far. Thanks to my ayurvedic practices. I have treated several hundread patients who have failed standard of care and got better with Ayurvedic care. I was far nearsighted in my college days and with yoga, and ayurvedic eye drops been able to correct my eyesight. Yes it is not magic you have to work on it through discipline.

I have been wearing glasses from a very young age with nearsightness progressed to -6 in both eyes. Any helpful advise would be appreciated. I am currently using pressure lowering eye drops to manage pressure with routine ~3 month eye exams..

My family donated eyes of my grand mother after she passed away and with her eyes, 2 more people's corneal blindness was treated. And our ancestral home is in the village of varanasi. So its a proof that with awareness we can educate people anywhere. My father is a eye doctor so that surely helped. Please guys, spread awareness. Lets play a small part in giving someone gift of eyesight for life long.

And without checking anything if you are saying that they give carrot juice eye drops , isn't there need of little humility to seek what they actually do give to their patients... isn't it best practice to look for everything good available there and give best to your patients ... and ayurvedic eye care doesn't only mean carrots by the way 😅

I had Ayurvedic eye treatment done at a centre for 7 days & I no longer use specticals. it's been more than a decade, never have any problem with my eyes. Not just the treatment do wonders to my vision but brightend the colour around the eye & I experienced deep relaxation overall also I saw the difference in my energy level. I use the eye drop recommended by my Ayurveda eye Dr. The use of the eye drop is only to relax if I had longer screen time & not regularly. And my eyes are doing amazing. I have meet 100s of kids & people at the center who have gotten rid of their specticals permanently & naturally with 100% no side effects. Surgery is one the worst thing you could do to yourself. Also, Dr can talk about the procedures that he conducts & the knowledge he is well educated with. But totally disregarding other Natural methods of treating the eye like Ayurveda is inappropriate & misleading. Dude you must do your Home Work well before making a podcast.

As an allopath he does not realize that he is NOT qualified to gab about other systems. In homeopathy there is cineraria maritima eye drops which worked wonders for my Dad's eyes when the mainstream ophthalmologists could not help him. My wife had her early cataract reversed by ayurvedic eye drops ( in allopathy they tell you that cataract at any stage cannot be reversed). These cases were verified by regular ophthalmologists after treatment..

For anyone who is confused. He is not saying carrots wont help with eyes. Carrots are a good souce of vitamin a which is important for eyes and its defeciency could cause some issues. Therefore eating carrots will prevent defeciency of vitamin a which will prevent eye issues originating from that. This will also help with cure of such issues. However, lot of issues are not caused by vitamin a defeciency so eating carrots wont help with such issues so incase of any issues, better to check with a doc whats the real issue instead of simply eating carrots

I don't disregard your years of experience but 2 people in same sectors can have different experiences especially about hidden market even if it's common but not as common as medical system. organ trade is sadly been there for a very long time, if you research you'll see enough details on it shared online. -And it doesn't necessarily happen in every hospital for it to be experienced by everyone with a long time experience. And most trafficked organ is usually the kidney or main organs as he says so it's possible for people to not have heard of it. So just because you haven't had the experience doesn't mean it doesn't exist, it's same as hacking/bullying/assaults/medical misdiagnosises etc some people experience them, while some people are vague about how common it is or if it's even there due to personal experiences. - Eg. I'm someone who encounters medical misdiagnosis & negligence due to bad medical education system in my place & nearby, with some rare good doctors. I've also heard the news about medical students cheating to people experiencing adulteration in hospitals meds (slower effects of certain meds) to doctors writing branded meds while being paid by those companies when generic meds are same and cheaper too (may be some doctors just do it out of habit too so reasons may vary). - yet I'll find 2-3 different groups of people, one that blindly trust the doctor & wouldn't even know they were misdiagnosed for a long time ,another that rationally trust them & being self-aware, ones that distrust them a lot.and frequency of this changes by every city/country/hospital. So neither of our experiences can be disregarded just because they're vastly different. - And corruption in medical industry is quite common, patients & doctors just don't openly discuss it as much as they do online because they don't think any action would be taken/where to complain and most people want to be polite even if some aren't due to seeing the medical hardships too. - & Doctors can't directly go against their colleagues if it's normalized. (if you checked the doctor chajjeds heat disease related interview with Raj you'll know why).

I have watched all of your interviews and I must say, they are very impressive and helpful. I want to clarify that the article mentioned the harmful effects of wearing sunglasses. It explained that while sunglasses protect your eyes from the sun, they leave your skin pores overexposed to sunlight because the brain does not receive the necessary stimuli from the eyes when they are covered by sunglasses. Dr. Rahil confirmed in the podcast that the eyes are protected, but he was not informed about the entire scenario.

It’s a very vast subject where you can cover types, causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and also how it affects people physically, emotionally and financially. I’m seeing my close family member suffering a great deal from cancer and feel that we people need a lot of enlightenment in this area on how to avoid it if possible, how to cope with it while suffering and also how to support someone who is suffering from it. 33:24 What Dr.Rahil was explaining about contact lenses is misleading. He said a big no to the use of contact lenses as he is a refractive surgeon (whose business runs on doing Lasik surgeries). But he never mentioned that he was talking about. The soft contact lenses, as per the literature review only 21 members of 10,000 soft contact lens users may develop contact lens-related corneal infections. which means the chance of developing corneal infections is only 0.21 % per individual. In which most of the contact lens infections can be recovered by discontinuing from a few days to weeks. Less than 5 members in 10,000 CL users may go through visual impairment if they are untreated early. Contact lens visual impairment is very rare in India and the world. Please don't spread misinformation regarding contact lenses. Contact not only provides vision correction but is also helpful in drug delivery in acute corneal infections ( under research), contact lenses are also used in therapeutic and rehabilitation of the cornea in severe cases of dry eye and LASIK-induced dry eyes. Please be specific about what you are talking about. This further adds a link ( research paper) on infection induced by contact lenses and their management please go through for better information www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9644230/#:~:text=The%20most%20well%2Dknown%20significant,wearers%20per%20year%20%5B6%5D.

That's the difference when eye surgeons don't want their clients to try different curing methods or maybe he is ignorant. My power was 6.00 and after a attending a camp for 20 days and repeating thier exercises, their diet and methods my power got reduced to 1.00 and now for that i use contact lenses. Also the thing about ulcers from contact lenses, it's when u use the worst quality contact lenses which come for so cheap for eg- Rs 99 or Rs 199 (as one the leading eyebrand in india is now promoting, cannot say the name). The thing is if u use cheap products u get cheap and worst quality. What can u expect in Rs 199? A brilliant quality product that is best for ur eyes. The answer is NO. Ask ur eye-consultant about which product is the best for eyes and he will tell u about the difference between the best quality (a little expensive) and the cheap one (worst for ur eyes). It's completely safe unless u follow all hygiene measures. Don't get side-tracked with the views of an eye-surgeon (ofc he will want u get operated). Aacha haa, even after an eye-operation, u will get an eye power after 40+ years. Good luck with that 😂😂
