One day I'd love to see a massive set up with all your different terrain. The bombed out husk of the old world giving way to the industrial necromunda, all surrounded by wastes and deserts. With a fortress monestary looking over it all

One of the reasons i made this video was to make suitable large terrain for titans to walk around….

@@EricsHobbyWorkshop how tall is the total piece with the skyscraper on top? looks awesome!
Stacking 🤌
This was a great build to watch. I gotta be honest, my jaw dropped when you combined the Snot Goblin ruins on top. The single piece they made was so much more than the two, awesome in their own right, individual pieces.

Seconding, my jaw dropped as well! They work so well together! Instantly got flashbacks to Fallout 3 where you have to rescue Riley's Rangers :D
Wake up, Babe, Eric just uploaded a new terrain build!
Damn dude, that's a banger of a building!
DUDE. The tip on what to do with the extra two part epoxy putty was amazing. Those sort of solutions to universal problems like that are SO satisfying.
That gag at 4:06 really got me. Goofy as hell, but that was hilarious man. And Eric, I really love your videos. They're always so cool, and you've got the most charming personality throughout. Thanks for doing what you do. Watching your stuff always brightens my day :))
Very impressive, you really managed to capture the the results of a war-torn city. A lot of terrain pieces are more Gothic architecture or standard fantasy, so it's nice to see something creative.
See now this is some ruined building I could get behind! That looks amazing man! you did a fantastic job of pulling from the source material, and the wood strips and columns are such an easy way to add that 'neoclassic' look. That's a brilliant gaming centrepiece.
The pristine un-damaged parts of the building are super cool, but I definitely love the horrible staircase of fallen slabs! this turned out great 🙂
I guess I better get a bunch of those columns since I'm getting married in six weeks. Thanks for the warning!

Wedding is a great excuse to stock up on terrain materials 😂
Not a 3D printer in sight! So refreshing to get videos where the majority of us can hope to build what's on screen. This looks absolutely great man, using pre trimmed wood was such a great idea!
Using Gesso as a sealant is a master stroke sir. Previously I would mix cheap acrylic with wood glue on my foam core and XPS builds. Will definitely need to give that a go. Also bonus points for the use of the word "magnanimous".
I love how you stay playful, passionate, thorough and always share new techniques and ideas in your content. Proud to be a patreon and discord member!
Great build Eric, thank you for the video
The broken concrete sections forming staircases reminds me a lot of Gears of War architecture, both convenient for the players and being plausibly formed during the conflict. Great work as always!
The architect in me got so happy when you used all the appropriate terminology for the construction (lintel, architrave, parapet, etc.) Fun fact, the style that you used for the cornice is called a "dentil row" because of its resemblance to teeth, with "dentil" being Latin for "tooth" Great work!
What an amazing instructional video. You are both creative and thorough. I hope others will use your ideas to build buildings and other terrain for their gaming boards, or tables. It will be time consuming, for sure, but it will save others plenty of money, versus purchasing their buildings and terrain from the gaming companies directly. 👍👍😁
This is why I love this channel and your artwork. It is a huge peev of mine that every time I see a "ruined building" type piece of terrain, there never seems to be any rubble around it. It's always this collapsed or bombed out building, where someone apparently has come by to keep things tidy by picking up all the pieces of the building that have fallen off. Apparently, they never have time to just demolish and rebuild the structure itself, but at least those pesky pieces of buildings and structures that fell off are no longer junking up the place! In short, I love this build. It has both the cool scenery of the building and façade while also having the rest of the building where it should be... laying around in piles as rubble and collapsed areas. And THAT is one of the things that makes this look so realistic, while just about all the other collapsed building terrain that I've seen, just never seems to look right. It honestly took me a while to notice this detail in my hobby journey, but once I did, I just can't un-notice it! Thanks Eric, for not fueling my unreasonably strong hatred for typical Urban Ruin builds! 😆 And awesome job as usual.
That is sweet! Now that I have enough space for the hobby, I can finally use all these ideas you've been giving me over the years and get building!
Wow just wow that looks freaking awesome. Especially the last step and the clip with the marines on it. Great work dude keep it up.🤯
This is probably the coolest terrain build I've ever seen!
what i like the most about this channel is that Eric continues to out do himself and teach me something new every time.
That was AWESOME! I've seen centerpieces, but this simplicity and the tower on top are just amazing. Also the facade and all.. Classic.
Loved this video, thanks for sharing. Your videos are so good and inspiring. Love the bit at the end when you added the Snot Goblins ruin on top, potentially could add some of my old W40k terrain making it look awesome. Architecture is a mix of old and new and this showed that.
*_If you take some white strawberry cloth and lay it tight to the stone surfaces, you can airgun on "marble veins". It also works with-some-whet wipes, just stretch the whet wipe over the surface._*
I agree it looks fantastic!
This is just amazing that wash just made everything pop like crazy and when you added the skyscraper I was completely sold. It really demonstrates that with the right finish you can integrate retail and home grown seamlessly
It blew my mind when you put the Snot Goblin piece on top. Fantastic work, gorgeous and it captures a lot of the neoclassical lowers of skyscrapers you can find in many Western cities. I had a chance to take a professional tour of my city of Tulsa and the oil barons here were creatures of the early 20th century, when Egypt was being dug up and shown around. It struck me that the fantastical psudo-Egyptian art-deco of the lower, highly visible parts of the buildings demonstrate to me that you could create Neoclassical, "Neo-Egyptian," etc, all capturing art deco for similar pop pieces that when disassembled wouldn't look out of place as a backdrop in D&D.
You are my favorite creator on the warhammer topic ! Your videos are great and helpful, and i like your humble and calm tone. Amazing projects, especially the titan ! You actually gave me the will to start Warhammer again a few weeks ago and i finished my first diorama yesterday. Thank you for that, peace from Quebec fellow canadian friend!
This is absolutely stunning. SO friggin creative, and I'm totally sold on the Imperial nature of it. It SCREAMS great crusade, and I cannot wait to use a lot of these supplies and techniques to make my own Horus Heresy era terrain. Big big thumbs up, can't wait to see your next epic terrain piece!
Honestly one of the best ideas I've seen for road tiles I've seen, only changes I'd make is painting the gutters a different color and standing up some road chunks to more easily show cover.
Brilliant work Eric. I like the use of junk or cheap items as the base strucuture and once processed with paints, primers etc you have a quality looking scene. I don't play Warhammer but find diorama construction fascinating.
I love the terrain builds like this and like that factory you did a while ago. Something about the realism with 40k components/inspiration really speaks to me.
Awesome as usual. Funnily enough I had just randomly followed the snot goblin Kickstarter about an hour before watching this. Will definitely be getting some of their stuff! Anyway always glad to see a new video from you. You and blackmagiccraft basically got me back into terrain making and gaming! 👍
wow that came together perfectly
Love the neoclassical look, really slots in well and very different to the usual gothic & fantasy.
Well done, thank you for the inspiration!!
Love your stuff, it always gets me inspired to do some terrain. I like how you get that balance between visuals and realism (for SF minis of course) alongside keeping things playable and fun to actually game on.
Danke! This is really nice to watch!
This was a very big help for me. I have some resin decorative pieces printed and was thinking of using pink insulation foam as fortress walls. This video helped me realize what to do to incorporate my decorative pieces. This is for my army display board for a GT. Thanks!
Absolutely fantastic Job
That's an epic looking building and even more with the other on top. This brings so much scale into the scenery.
The sound effects are really adding to the production value and general ambiance of the video.
That rubble looks so awesome. For skirmish its perfect. I loved how simple is the painting. Awesome work, as always.
Great job man, I've learned alot from your videos in the past, I always enjoy watching you work your magic. Keep em comin
Thank you Eric, this was awesome!
Oh wow, thats a huge building!! I love the mix of classical and modern elements when you stack things.
Looks great
This is definitely an inventive build, I haven't seen anyone try this architecture style. I like how you've taken on different ideas like Tau and Eldar terrain plus this new style, it's very cool and gives me a lot of ideas.
Very nice, I love the size. Definitely an inspiration!
I really love your builds man, intigrating playable spaces is such an important part of this whole process and you have a fine tuned skill for fitting them in expertly!
Totally awesome
This is amazing tutorial! Easy steps to follow and the paints you put on made it look so cool fast. Thank you for such great video
Eric another fabulous video and build! I love how you used the wooden pieces to help add accents, detail and character to the front of the building.
That’s freaking great!
An idea I've been toying around is to have some extra skyscraper ruins and terrain pieces sitting next to the gaming board. Just leave a bit of room for the players to move around.
It looks amazing. Definitely need to look for cake pillars now
Very, very cool indeed!
Thanks for the awesome video. Very resourceful, great in-depth process, and amazing filmography.
So excited whenever I get a new vid from you!
the sandbags are so cool, thanks!
The stacking is so simple yet just is chefs kiss
That looks amazing!
That's super cool!
Gorgeous build!
Nice job that turned out so well
Really knocked it out of the part with this video! Good edits and entertaining narration, the build itself was gorgeous
I really like it. This makes me want to make my own hive city board one day that’s a full 4’ x 6’ but also has tall vertical skyscrapers with interlinked bridges

Did you see the skyscraper build zorpazorp made? Using old gw kits. That might be the most ridiculous set of skyscrapers I have seen in a build.
Another great build with wit and tips. You didn't mention it out loud, but I played back twice the way you pushed the toothpicks (rebar) through the foam with the eraser end of a pencil. Soooo useful... You are a master of the craft!
love it to bits!!! amazing work!!!!
Incredible dude. Look amazing
love it! definetly inspired to do something similiar in the future.. after I finished my other two ongoing terrain projects and the ork trukk and the.....
This is phenominal mate 👍. I love it. You inspired me with a lot of builds before, and you did it again man. Awesome video.
Eric, I love your builds. They are so inspiring for me.
Yesss, I was hoping those were cake pillars when I saw the thumbnail. That was one of the first things I used when I started making terrain over 20 years ago. Thanks for the trip back.
Very cool , I like these builds and they seem easy and cheap enough !
Your videos are still getting better and better, this was another jump in overall production value, awesome stuff dude
Awesome work!! Those pullers are a super nice touch! The rubbles in the back is killer too. Nicer work!!
This looks amazing.
Priming is always my favourite part of the process as well. There's just something inherently pleasing in seeing all those disparate elements coalesce into a single piece before your eyes.

Yeah, it's the point where whatever you making starts looking like one thing and not as a bunch of bits randomly stuck together
Something I might have done to the frieze is hide magnets there and made pieces that fit over that in modular way so you have it clean, have motto or emblem there or even a part of a motto or emblem that got damaged in the what ever destroyed the building. That way you can keep it setting neutral while at the same time making it so that there's some detail there.
Amazing 🔥 🔥 I love the fact that you can use this building in multiple set ups 🙌🙌🙌🙌
That’s fantastic
Aaaah! Just the hobby pick me up I needed. Thanx for the inspiration and really nice job. Now I’m going back to work on my wizards tower.
nice work i picked up a bunch of the pillars a while ago on clearance to use in builds
Great narrative style and production quality…on top of the great teaching!
Amazing again man. The whole thing was awesome and then BOOM, that wash made it look so realistic. Great stone color.
Just "chef kiss" perfect!
Very cool with the impressive façade and the modular easily stored additional floors
So sick!
You inspire me! I have watched a lot of your work, and am vert impressed! I can't wait to start my own diorama. Keep up the great work.
Looks great, love your videos
That turned out really well
Outstanding mate, outstanding!
great work, i love it
Great build!
that looks like a real building! nice work!
Just brilliant as usual man
Very awesome! I’m learning a lot watching channels like yours, keep up the great work!
