Haven't seen any shoe reviewers mentioning this: The pull tab on More Trail v3 also serves the purpose of keeping laces in place. Once you tie the laces, the pull tab would be separated into 2 sections. You pull the lower section loose and tuck the laces under. Then you pull the upper section so the lower section of the pull tab tightens down and holds the laces securely. Nike Pegasus Trail 4 GTX also has this design.

This review hits all the good points and and good examples. Good job. Hi 5. Oh, and that's why I want the v3. I have tons of other shoes for fast/tech/race days. So this would be nice as a recovery slow pace etc.

Hey. I would have no issues with running some miles on asphalt. It might give a bit of a clunky sound because of the lugs, but it will be soft and comfortable on all surfaces IMO. Lars

Which shoe is the most comfortable in your opinion? Like the feeling that your running on clouds. I mean only Trail shoes 😊

Hey Jakutz, If it's only about running on clouds then the More trail v3 and the Trabuco Max 3 are great options and the first that comes to mind. Lars

Why the ultra thing shoelaces??? I thought I was tying up my leather dress shoes.

Nice review! What about the sizing though? For some reason I have to go half a size up in NB's road running shoes. Not sure about the trail range.

Hey Rohit, I am the only one who has tried it at our store and I use my normal size US 11, like I always do. For me it doesn't feel too small or to long. I just asked a co-worker who has the same size as I do to try mine on, and he also said they fit perfectly. Size can sometimes be very subjective though. Hope this helps. Lars

I dont understand super max or high stack trail shoe. There is so much limitation espeically where I am in. I am a ground feel trail shoe

Hey :) They are soft enough to be used in the city as well yes, but this will wear out the outsole a lot faster. Generally I would recommend an road running shoe like the More v4, or the 1080 v13 instead of this, if you are looking for a running shoe for the city.. Lars

I was thinking of getting the More v4 for long runs and a trail shoe - but now I am thinking of just getting this. The wider platform may actually suit be better as I have wide feet (I would need to buy the 2E version of the More v4). Do you think that would work? (Btw missing your posts on your personal channel 😊)…

Good Morning AppleRunner! I don't think there is any big difference between the More v4 and More Trail v3, in regards to fit. But I can't be certain, as Malte was the one who tested it at Runningxpert.com, and I haven't had one on yet. Now the More Trail v3 would be fine for both, but the lugs do make some noise, almost like a football boot when running on asphalt. So it all depends on what surface you will use it on. If trail, go for the trail version, it is a great shoe. Lars

Yes!! Great grip, fairly breathable and some space for your toes. But be aware, walking that much can be hard on your feet, regardless of which shoes you have, especially if it’s in the heat.

@@RunningXpert thank you, my only worry is that it may be too cushioned if I’m walking an average of 20 kms a day. I remember when I was using hoka bondi 8 before, I found that my legs were so tired after 7 kms. I don’t get that experience when I’m wearing not so cushioned shoes like asics Kayano 29 or ultraboost.

@@_EveryStepofTheWay Well, the More has at least as much cushion as the Bondi, so you will have to take that into account. I'll throw some other options out there for you to consider that have less cushioning. Saucony Xodus Ultra, and the Altra Lone Peak. Lars

@@RunningXpert thank you for the recommendation. I never considered these two. Being that I’m flat footed, I’ve had such a stable experience with the Kayano, that I find max cushioned one don’t really feel good after a while. Less cushioning maybe the better solution for me. Thank you!

I returned these shoes … it hurt every part of my foot.

So choose Hoka🤷‍♂️

Thanks for your very nice comment. 😀 May I suggest you just ask next time. This shoe is true to size for me. I used US11 as I normally do. But be aware. I usually have some space in front of the toes, something that makes me close to immune to small size changes. I will always report in a review if I am certain of a size change. Lars

@@tonyc9793 I agree, it's also the first thing that makes people click away from the video, sadly. We are getting better, and have in the latest videos made a new graphic called a snug-o-meter where we talk about size and fit, which we will include in all our reviews from now on.
