@@rubendejong4895 hmmm, ik weet het niet. Misschien heeft hij extremere projecten, het voelt daardoor toch wat onmogelijker om het zelf te doen dan bij Mastermilo. Hiero kan je echt zien hoe hij het maakt en het geeft mij in ieder geval meer motivatie om zelf iets gestoords te gaan maken dan bij video’s van Colin Furze. Sowieso vind ik dat kanaal een beetje overdreven en “nep” (zie je veel in UK, bijvoorbeeld de oude top gear, echt super leuke dingen wat ze doen enzo maar dat alles zo scripted is spreekt me gewoon niet aan) maar ja das mijn mening…

Its an open diff, so he is probably going to use 2 brake master sylinders and pedals

It doesn't. That's why they only went in reverse (but I assume forward works fine as well). In order to steer they would need independent brakes on both sides. I think they can create such system fairily easily. However, I fear the little differential on this old Clio would be under heavy stress and might not hold for long. Still, I think it would be interesting to see :)

its been answered but a differential takes input power and transfers it one of 3 ways all out equal , all out left all out right. so if you break the left side power goes to the right side...you turn left. break right side you turn right and no breaks or both breaks full steam ahead or all stop...hope you understand it better now

You should give an AcademeG from Russia a call. He made a Bentley Ultratank on tracks.

Yes, with open diff it would work perfectly. I imagine you could somehow connect LR breaking to steering or install two levers.

And how does this thing steer? It can only go forwards and backwards, thats it.

I'm hoping he is going to set up dual brakes to control either side to allow to lock up of one side and force the power to the opposite track. Only way to do it really.

stuurstangen naar wielen vastmaken en druk van stuurhuis op remsysteem links/rechts knutselen, kan die misschien nog schranken ook. Ohja, en ververs de olie en bijbehorende filter nog ff, dan houdt de motor het nog net ff vol voor toffe video's ;-)

Prachtig gedaan Emile ,had nooit gedacht dat hij zou rijden. Een plezier om al je video’s te kunnen bekijken.

Now you need to connect the brakes to the steering. When you turn left the left brake will engage. And you will turn left. When you turn right. The right brake will engage in turn right.

you need to install independent actuated hydraulic brake to steer it.

How do you take turns with that ClioTank? Cars take turns by turning at least 2 wheels in the desired direction. Tanks achieve that by accelerating on one side more than on the other.

easiest way I can see to achieve that is adding another handbrake lever, and controlling one side of the car with one lever and the other with the other lever. steering wheel would have to be locked straight ahead and the car would need to have an open diff for this to work. but I'm sure Milo has a way to actually make it work. lol

Ik denk dat het wel kan lukken als hij de remmen links en rechts onafhankelijk kan krijgen. Dan gewoon linker track blokkeren om naar links te draaien en vice versa…

Steering: install another 4cyl engine in rear of car to operate one side. Front motor operates other side. When you want to turn, put one motor in park.
