I'm not MMA or boxing fans, and futuristic movie is not the thing that i like to watch but i really like this movie. Why? Because the movie is realistic, that it can happen in real life (though actually it's not in 2021 atleast). But yea, most futuristic movies have this ridiculous technology that is silly so that's why I don't like them. But for this movie, yes you can predict the plot lines (i mean most of the movies nowadays have same plots anyway and don't mention the remake movies) and you can guess it's about bonding between father and son, but it doesn't fall into corny kind of movie. It's well balanced, good actors, the cgi doesn't look like too fake. It looks real and not overly made. It has simple plot and you can easily understand it without unnecessary complicated plot. I like the movie because it's kind of made for people who love games (this is how i interpret it) because of the background musics, scenery and it focus more on the boxing, kind of like playing game, rather sappy dialogue which is so boring.

I am so gonna buy the Blu Ray!
Loved the movie i still watch it nowadays get emotional
As soon as you said what films Shawn Levy filmed I was like WOW. Then Steven Spielberg came up and I was like WHAT?!?! Haha "Sounds like it can be a fun movie right?...It actually is!" False alarm lol. HAHA the end literally made me laugh out loud! I need some steak...Haha fantastic review
This movie is highly Underrated!!!
How was this movie 9yrs ago?!?!
geez that's what his hair used to look like lol I thought he was wearing a wig, I'm so used to his current look.
Definitely a "turn off brain: enjoy" movie. Rocky with robots. Plus the father son angle can be nice. I love kids but I agree most movie kids are like nails on a chalk board. This kid was quite entertaining. No short round.
I don't think I'm "supposed" to be interested in a movie about fighting robots, since I'm a girl..? But I really do want to see it haha. Plus, I like Hugh Jackman. Good review!
Great music in this movie as well.
Dude, the first cheaper by the dozen and the night at the museum were good movies.
I don't believe this! A few months ago I would say that was going to suck...but I said that for First Class and Rise of the Apes. This seems to be a true year for surprising hits. Real Steels been getting great rep and now you just praised it too. Looking forward to it.
I liked it! It was more like Stallone's Over the Top than Karate Kid IMHO. Only with better actors, and robots. Thumbs up.
Shawn Levy did not direct the Pink Panther 2 it was Harald Zwart other then that I can understand why you was abit worried about seeing this movie. Good Review
I'm watching this on tv and I came to see his review of this movie. ^_^
Haven`t seen it yet, but sounds good. Love Hugh Jackman dough, could watch this movie if it was bad, just for Jackman ;)
I swear, I'm like hating on this movie and I don't know why? I am going to see it and I really hope it surprises me.
The old hair 🤣 love you Chris
I knew I wasn't the only one who thought this was Rockem' Sockem' Robots!
HUAhuahua, i liked the movie too man, but i can't shake the felling of Over the Top 1987 with silvester stallone, kind of some similarities... but i liked.
I had a blast with this movie, the proud look on the kids face watching his dad he just met go all out in the end made me tear up a bit
Oh hey Chris 👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾

That one quick joke about needing steak... like it would make you more manly after having shared emotion... Made me gasp after a fit of raucous laughter.. :D
An Iron Man suit in this movie would have made it AWESOME!!!
This reminds me of a Twilight Zone episode starring Lee Marvin, except really different.
Watched it, Reviewed it, Loved it! Good job bro
Am I the only one who likes this hairstyle?
Bring the HAIR back!
So weird that Shawn directed this movie and now he's the producer on stranger things
It's kinda like over the top meets Rocky meets artificial intelligence
Wow a early Chris video! Yay. I thought this movie was pretty good :P
Shawn Levy did not direct the sequels to Cheaper by the Dozen or Pink Panther!
I know this is an older video and you were quite young, but this movie is nothing like Karate Kid. It shares the most similarities with Over the Top, which was a good movie too.
Hey chris, where is your warrior review?
Wasn't this Movie based on a Twilight Zone episode? I'd like to see that :)
It's okay, Chris. Real men cry during Real Steel. Yep. Well I havent seen it but wow. I never would have thought this movie get anything higher then a C. That's really...good to hear? I don't know. I'm still seeing it. :)
Another review that I couldn't end up agreeing with you Chris.
Hey, I liked Night at the Museum (the first one, the second was pointless).
Ha that hair cut that looks like my hair cut sigh I just realized that
The film trailer got a lot of negativity, so I'm glad it's a solid rockin sock 'em action flick.
Time goes by fast
Good review Chris, what's your favourite fighting film? I reckon Raging Bull.

Chris should do his review of Warrior
@ramfock yes and i acknowledge your opinion but you didn't have to say out bluntly that you were speaking for everybody...I used context "movie makers are stealing YOUR money"...as in whoever is reading that is getting their money stolen if they go to the movie. Yeah I hated some movies but the big thing is you hated this one...why? You never gave valid reasons of why you hated it. I find that if you hate something, there must be a reason(s).
Holy shit Chris..
Lmfao look at his hair idk if I can finish this video and I'm only 30 seconds in
Chris looks high as fuck. Like he'd just smoked 3 blunts watching some unknown cut of Signs and then decided to go see this movie. 👊
~Looks good Chris~~~I'll give it a go~~~Great work dude~!
he didn't direct pink panther 2 just 1
This movie may be really cliche but I still find it really entertaining
The best review OF ALL TIME. :)
