Fun Fact: Jamaica culture is made up of different culture, Chinese, Indiana, English, Spanish, Tainos, Africans ect... those are what are combined to make Jamaica. Jamaican do not say chinese Jamaica or anything like that they only say Jamaican.

Jamaican food is definitely one of my favorite cuisines. What they're eating is like Jamaican soul food. I have had jerk chicken at different places but the all time best was when I visited Jamaica. We met some people who took us to a friend's house for what they said was the best jerk chicken. The woman that lived there was Chinese Jamaican. She guided us to het back yard where she was cooking jerk in the ground with large leaves covering the meat. OHHHH MAN!!!! That was the best jerk chicken I have ever had. That was many years ago and to be honest, I have not tasted jerk chicken like that since.

Great content! I like that you got away from the Jamaican Stereotypes and spoke about the actual History. The motto is “Out of many one people”. I know that motto is true of myself I am Black but I also have Chinese, Indian, Syrian and White Jamaican in my ancestry as well. It’s a Melting Pot, similar to my Hometown of Toronto which has a huge diaspora of West Indians including Jamaicans. If you ever wonder where Drake gets that strange accent from it is heavily influenced by Jamaican Creole because of all of the Jamaicans that live in T.O. I like how knowledgeable David is on whatever culture you guys are exploring. 👍🏽
