I bought 40 pounds of magnetite dust crystals. It was extremely dirty making water silty muddy for weeks in a bucket. I washed the dirty stuff away then used a stick with n52 magnets screwed to it. Then I put a bag over the magnetic stick and filled a empty 5 gallon bucket with water stirring the water with the magnets then pouring the dust in I was able to remove the magnetite dust by pulling the stick out placing the stick end in a clean bucket full of water then remove the bag so the magnetic stuff falls to the bottom. I was left with sand and panned it out to tons of very fine baby powder yellow shiny stuff so small it will float on water. I panned a fraction of it and got 2.3 ounces of shiny stuff. I calculated the ore gold amount. In 2 teaspoons I got 2.2 grams of shiney making the 40 pound possibly to have 39.06 ounces of possible gold. It is extremely nanno, I need to take it somewhere this week to check if its real before I spend the time panning it all out.

Back in the 70s and 80s, new mining techniques allowed gold production here in my home of Nevada to skyrocket. Nevada currently produces most of the US's gold, more than California and Alaska combined. The Silver State is also the better Gold Rush state! Also, microscopic mining like this doesn't seem like it'll be anywhere near as successful long term as Asteroid Mining. There's way more momentum and development heading towards the regular launch of large scale robotic mining and refining operations to some of these mountain sized asteroids filled with gold (and we're talking no terrestrial geological processes to really disturb the element so these things are just BRICKS of precious metals). Gold could be refined on site and launched back to Earth orbit with fuel made from ice-water on site, no need to tow the whole asteroid back home. The gold, platinum and palladium asteroids out there will be some of the first major targets, then later on the much more common iron ones to smelt into steel and construct entire cities in space and on the moon. This stuff isn't as far off as people think, next 30 years asteroid mining will be normal and in 100 years we'll have cities on the moon not just science bases.

The value of anything and everything inanimate, *tangible or not* (whether a physical precious metal, any commodity, any asset, fiat currency, or crypto) is extrinsic and subjective..........whether one hates to accept this *indisputable truth* or not. *"Value"* is ALWAYS a subjective assessment made subjectively by individuals. Even so-called "standards" of value are extrinsic assessments by some individuals who have agreed or come to a subjective consensus. This subjective consensus can be based on intrinsic *PROPERTIES* or *CHARACTERISTICS* of a tangible goods..........but the value attributed or attached to a goods or a thing is ALWAYS extrinsic. *Consensus of subjective evaluation does NOT equal objective or intrinsic value.* It simply means that some or many individuals have come to an agreed upon subjective assessment or evaluation of the worth of a thing.

Nope! You are commiting the logical fallacy of the "stolen concept", namely; value. Value is objective, and some objects have intrinsic value. Heres how: when YOU illogically speak of value, you disconnect - value to what? Or who? Value to a living, rational human being. Not to an alien, or insect, or rock, or theoretical abstract entity, or mystical other worldly conciousness. A living human being. Value is something a rational human gets/ stores/ uses. Ex: food is a value to you. Go ahead and argue it..... Anyway, you need it to remain alive. There may be a popular nut or fruit that is all the rage, and sells for a period of time at $100 a gram. But even if it lost its popularity and its high dollar value, it is still intrinsically valuable to a living, rational human for its naturally occuring nutrient profile BECAUSE humans need nutrients to LIVE. Unless you are willing to PROVE this is not fact by denying yourself nutrients forever more, just thank me and stand corrected. You're welcome. Source: axiomatic 9th grade logic.

@@Golden.Silver.Conquistador Hi, thanks for sharing your opinion. No offense meant, but your condescending, haughty, and pugnacious attitude makes you come across like an elementary school keyboard warrior who thinks he has a grasp on a topic........but actually doesn't. You really do appear to be suffering from the Dunning Kruger Effect ( www.psychologytoday.com/us/basics/dunning-kruger-effect ). Now maybe in your response, you can grow up and cease with spewing your juvenile, unjustified vitriolic rhetoric and instead, just have a calm dialogue here. 1. what is the precise definition of "stolen concept" you are suggesting is the basis of the fallacy I've committed? 2. your unsubstantiated assertion that "value is objective" must be rejected until you can unequivocally demonstrate that value is objective. And what I mean by objective in the appropriate context to this discussion is: *independent of any conscious awareness* or *mind independent.* 3. I have never been presented with a cogent explanation of the meaning of "value" as used in the context I've used where "value" isn't necessarily dependent upon a mind that is capable of making a worth assessment of the thing being valued. In other words, no one has ever presented a valid argument in favor of their belief that "value" in the context I've used it, is objective. If you have a cogent explanation or argument for your assertion that value is objective, then please present it since thus far, you have done no such thing. 4. you bring up fruits and nuts as examples in your attempt to try to make a case for your claim that value is allegedly objective but your own examples invalidate your apparent argument since the countless people who have allergies to or dislike certain nuts and fruits will unequivocally attach a different value to those fruits and nuts from everyone one else, each and every one of them who will in turn attach differing values to those fruits and nuts based on a variety of different factors. So, *the ball is in your court* .............please don't squander this opportunity I'm giving you to explain your position by going off on more errantly vitriolic ranting. Thank you in advance for your response. Have a nice day.
