The number of devices that can actually view this in HDR is small. So, if you can view this using a supported HDR device, let me know how it looks in the comments below.
This video is my 2nd attempt at grading & publishing a 4K HDR (high dynamic range) KZread video. This time I included a LUT (Look Up Table) that instructed KZread how to process the HDR video for viewing on non-HDR devices. Watch in actual HDR on select Samsung 4k TV's, HDR Phones & Chromecast Ultra devices currently. All other devices will play this video as 4K or HD in SDR (standard dynamic range).
The KZread auto-conversion from HDR to SDR does not work well. In SDR, the brightest whites clip terribly and lose all their texture detail. There are also saturation and color accuracy issues. So, I apologize if this doesn't look very good on your device or TV in SDR. I'm currently working on a fix that will allow me to tell KZread how optimize the conversion for my specific video.
Filmed using my Sony NEX-FS700R with a Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM lens on an Atomos Shogun recorder as 4K CDNG raw video. Edited and graded entirely in Davinci Resolve 12.5.
