I'm Tom Deschamps, and I grew up in Bridgeport in the 50's and 60's. Looking at the pic's brought back a lot of memories - I was in the class of "68 at the new Central high. Despite what Bridgeport has become, I have nothing but good memories. My family lived on Brooklawn Ave, where my father had his doctor's office (Doctor Stephen H. Deschamps). I have very positive thoughts about the city I grew up in, the friends and experiences that I had.

Thats good always think of those sweet memories 😊 ❤ it seems like the whole world turned for the worst in most cases ! I too like to think.on good memories of bport growing up as a teen in 80s here in the projects and EASTSIDE makes me smile each time so your right positive thoughts 😊 of the city and of life !

Can someone please tell me where Observation Hill is @ Beardsley Park? Also, what was the name of the beach @ Beardsley Park? What year and why did it close? I've been trying to find this information for a while now. Yellow Mill, FPV, Steuben St, Burroughs St, Orchard St, Autumn St Native East Sider...Brightest Blissings Bridgeporters...

I don't miss Bridgeport AT ALL! IM never going back.

Miss my city i grew up there and yes it has changed but lets not blame the city blame the youth and gangs and the no parenting nor dicipline
