humanity is degenerating... especially USA, just look at the difference how Reagan spoke and how modern politicans speak... big difference and proof humanity degenerated, im from the czech republic and when I look at politican speaches from like 60 years ago, difference is anormous... much different words chosen and much more wisdom... we are devolving not evolving, few generations back humanity was more wise and clever than it is today and I mean it, modern technology doesn't mean we have better morals and inteligence than our ancestors had, and it is irony we can learn every single thing from the internet but most people use it for selfies on instagram... degeneration, tell me how many people can survive without eletricity and supermarkets?? tell me if our ancestors were more clever than we are, they knew how to grow food, they knew how to make it.. now people are so lazy to even cook... but they think we are more evolved because we could make from 2gb flashdrive 16gb flashdrive, we don't even make new technology we just improve old technology, for example first touch screen was produced in 1982... no progress at all

Marty toofree Reagan was a special type of communicator, most politicians past or present don't have his charisma. There was a convention speech that Gerald Ford made in 1976 which was a good speech, but Reagan blew him away. Marty toofree That's because people back then the people were Christians. The European nations and the U.S were blessed by God because they followed him. They have now been turning from God everything has been going downhill since then. Europe is a former shadow of it's original glory in morals, economics and every other aspect of their lives. The U.S has been going down hill since the 1950s. The pattern follows Ancient Israel when Israel followed God they were blessed economically militarily etc, when they decided to not follow God they became destitute. Another example is Ben Carson look at the wisdom and how he talks compared to how Obama talks, Ben is a prominent Christian and has the wisdom of God on his life.

The fact is that we have an opportunity to communicate almost with every inhabitant of the planet and not everybody is smart enough, as it's a humans nature : someone are genius, some one are not, so in that mass of non-geniuses we lost an acumen. I guess if 100 years ago we had also an Internet - the result could be the same, because people nature doesn't changes, we just have delimitation of human mass. The fact that a housewives had same IQ 100 years ago is no doubt, but they didn't had an opportunity to show their stupidity in public

That is not quite how the Soviet Union was crushed you are missing something key that requires more planning than simple proliferation. The Soviet Union couldn't keep up with the Jones's and beat themselves economically. It was diamonds and oil. Reagan got South Africa (deBeers) to greatly increase diamond production and the Middle East to flood the market with oil. Those two were the Soviet major exports and when they devalued, it was over.

+Callie Sullivan I love Reagan because he instilled pride, hope and prosperity to most Americans. I suppose we are all free to interpret and represent information in a spin manor to say what we want. As far as bombing Libya goes, Kadafi was a brazen terror supporter before the attack and a quiet reclusive head of state after, I consider that a win for America.

There were just as many American hostages in other countries when Reagan was President, but he rarely ever spoke about them or even tried to get them released. Do you know why? Because Reagan couldn't make a political issue out of it, like he did when he ran for President in 1980, when he used the hostage situation in Iran (11/4/1979-01/20/1981) as a weapon against his opponent, President Jimmy Carter, to make him look like a weakling because all his efforts to have the hostages freed came to nothing, including his attempt to rescue them by military force, which ended in disaster when the two army helicopters crashed into each other, killing eight soldiers. This incident only served to confirm what Reagan was telling the American people, that Carter was a weak bungler who was letting a small foreign country push him and us around. In all our anger about the Iranian situation, we forgot about a few things. To start with, even if the Government did try to save the hostages by force, there was still too much of a risk that the hostages would have been killed by their captors, especially since they were well-guarded, not just by the radicals who took over the American Embassy in Tehran (the capitol city), but by practically the ENTIRE CITY OF TEHRAN! Second, we also forgot that we, the United States of America, brought the hostage situation on ourselves! How? By putting the Shah Of Iran in power back in 1953. Our Central Intelligence Agency (C.I.A.) staged a military coup to overthrow the Prime Minister because he was supposedly leading Iran to Communism. This, however, was just a cover story (which resonated with an America that was in the midst of the Cold War and the McCarthy Era, when paranoia about the "Red Menace," which was basically exaggerated, was rampant) designed to hide the real reason for the Iranian coup, because the Prime Minister didn't like the idea of his country being dominated by the big oil companies, which were owned and operated by the United States and the United Kingdom. So, the C.I.A. ousted the Prime Minister and replaced him with the Shah, who turned out to be little more than a dictator who oppressed the Iranian people for over a quarter of a century (1953-79), often with the help of the C.I.A., which taught the SAVAK (the Iranian Secret Police) how to torture and murder the enemies of the Shah. It's no wonder, then, that the Iranians finally got sick and tired of it all and decided to overthrow the Shah in 1979. It's also no wonder that the Iranians hated the United States so much since we started the whole thing in the first place, why they called us "the Great Satan," and why they took all those Americans as hostages. But all that was forgotten (or covered up, depending on your point of view) in the midst of our fury over the Iranian crisis. All we heard back then was about how some "Mickey Mouse country" was holding supposedly "innocent Americans" captive, how President Carter was a "weakling" and a "wimp" who was letting Iran treat us like dirt, who didn't have the guts to "send in the Marines" to rescue the hostages, like in some "John Wayne movie," (just like he didn't have the backbone to send the Marines to Afganistan after the Russians invaded), that this was an example of how America was becoming weak, how it was no longer a "great country," etc. It never occurred to us that maybe the real reason for the hostage situation was not because America was no longer "great," but because it had become TOO GREAT, that it had become an imperialistic bully that thought it had a right to meddle in the affairs of other countries, supposedly in the name of "National Security," but actually in the name of protecting corporate greed. This was so not just in the Iranian coup in 1953, the purpose of which was to protect the oil interests there, but also in 1954, when the C.I.A. ousted the legally elected President of Guatamala and replaced him with a military dictatorship in order to protect the interests of the United Fruit Company, or in 1973, when the agency staged a similar coup in Chile that led to the downfall of its Democratic Socialist President, Salvador Allende, who was replaced by the military dictatorship of General Augusto Pinochet. There were similar acts of U.S. meddling in places like Congo, Indonesia, the Middle East, South Vietnam (whose President was assassinated by the C.I.A. in 1963, thus planting the seeds for further U.S. involvement in the Vietnam conflict), etc. This is why so many countries hate and distrust the United States, why they see us as "the Yankee Imperialist," or "the Ugly American." But, I'm digressing. The point is that Ronald Reagan used the Iranian hostage situation to his political advantage, to make Jimmy Carter look bad, and it worked, because Reagan won in a landslide. But, when Reagan got into office, he felt he didn't have to do anything about Americans being held hostage in other countries, because by this time, there was nobody that he could use these problems as a political weapon against, as he had done with Carter. It was an example of Reagan's hypocrisy, the same hypocrisy that made him support brutal right-wing dictators who claimed to be "Anti-Communist," while at the same time, Reagan was calling the Soviet Union "the Evil Empire." Furthermore, Reagan continued to back these tyrants even when they had committed crimes against American citizens, like the four American nuns who were raped, tortured, and murdered by a right-wing death squard in El Salvador in December, 1980 (a month after Reagan was elected, and a month before he took office). And this was the same man who promised that he would consider any crime committed against American citizens by a foreign country to be an act of war! This was also the same man who called the left-wing guerrillas of El Salvador "terrorists," even though they attacked mostly military targets to overthrow the right-wing dictatorship of that country, but on the other hand, called the right-wing "Contra" rebels "freedom fighters" and the "moral equivalent of the American Founding Fathers," even though they attacked mostly unarmed civilians (commiting horrible atrocities like rape and torture against them) in order to oust the leftist Sandinista government of Nicaragua, which posed no direct threat to us. Think of these things before you start praising Reagan.

Trump is one form of it and his racism can lead to more ignorance and the rise of hate in this country... oh wait. It's happened already. LOL! I love how Trump compares socialism to Venezuela and countries that are by definition run by fascist leaders butbwont compare them to all the European countries under the same system that are thriving. Then when he does, he lies about anoutnhow horrible the people are living in those European countries... I've seen countless videos of European folk countering Trumps lies with how they actually live. All this fear mongering from the right through these videos nonsense and can be debunked by just talking to those from countries who live in a socialist environment. Why not talk about why works instead of what doesn't. Countries run by dictators are far different than countries run by some form of democracy. That's fact. Trump is a fascist in hiding and he sends enough hints to that where some one should pay attention. But, he's conned too many for real dialog innthe topic. Have fun with king Trump.

@News Entertainment I really do hope you get citizenship. I'm rooting for you. To answer your question honestly. There aren't any that are perfect. Some do better by their people than the United states by far and all we hear is about countries with fascists and dictators as leaders. Switzerland, Netherlands, Norway and most countries in that region are doing much better than most and they are nowhere near having people living like animals. Plus, they live longer and have better quality life than Americans. Do I want to live there. No. Do I want the same socialistic government they do. No. But the question isn't about socialism or if it's better than what America has. Ours is better by far but we have far less quality of life, health insurance is awful and super expensive and just about every elderly person lives on the fringes of poverty because of how expensive it is after retirement. I really dont see that in those countries and i surely don't see that in Spain, where my wife's family is from. Again, not perfect but people are better treated than here. Venezuela and countries like those aren't even in the same league as most European countries. I'm actually thinking of retiring in Spain with my wife. Galician air is wonderful and so is the food. Again, I do hope you become a citizen. Get that paper work rolling. The sooner you get it going, the sooner things happen. Much love.

The problem is most people don't even know enough about history to teach it to their kids. And many that do still don't. They let the schools do it, and you get SJW geography lessons, and feel good views on society instead of the study if what was and what is. I present my kids with information from both sides and I ask them to tell me which way they believe and why. The why part makes it hard. I then tell my kids what I believe and why, and why I don't believe the other way. Then I tell them that they need to figure out for themselves if they agree or not. If you teach your kids to critically think, they won't just follow any yahoo that comes along, even if it's in the party they support.

The word minions comes to mind. The Scriptures show us that we will reap what we sow. It's at the stage now where public debate is a thing of the past and unless we fall in line with the leftist global agenda we are told that we have no right to a public voice. In Australia you only have to mention online that you believe in Jesus and you will have a barrage of opponents dump on you so fast for not engaging their agenda that you will feel keyboard mugged. Piemash Liquor I’m black, I lived in the 80s and trust me, they called Reagan a racist or implied it all the time. The Dirty Dems have used that label against Republicans for decades now. The difference today is we live in a 24/7, nonstop, nonsensical world of hyperbolic clickbait, bullshit disguised as “news”. These for profit media outlets are owned by just a handful of radical left wing zealots who are not remotely interested in informing the public. They want to program our minds by brainwashing the shit out of it. Long story short, some people believe they have the right to rule over and control other people. Misinform, confuse, divide and conquer. That’s always the plan. Plain and simple.

Reagan actually didn't warn us, he gave them all amnesty and turned California from a republican state to a democrat state. He knew most catholics vote Democrat, and most illegals are hispanic and mexico is over 90% catholic. Why dod you think the Democrat Party and the Pope want open borders? They know by leaving the borders open and pushing for Amnesty, it gives the Pope and the Democrat Party control over America. “My history of the Jesuits is not eloquently written, but it is supported by unquestionable authorities, [and] is very particular and very horrible. Their [the Jesuit Order’s] restoration [in 1814 by Pope Pius VII] is indeed a step toward darkness, cruelty, despotism, [and] death. … I do not like the appearance of the Jesuits. If ever there was a body of men who merited eternal damnation on earth and in hell, it is this Society of [Ignatius de] Loyola.” John Adams (1735-1826; 2nd President of the United States) “It is my opinion that if the liberties of this country - the United States of America - are destroyed, it will be by the subtlety of the Roman Catholic Jesuit priests, for they are the most crafty, dangerous enemies to civil and religious liberty. They have instigated MOST of the wars of Europe.” Marquis de LaFayette (1757-1834; French statesman and general. He served in the American Continental Army under the command of General George Washington during the American Revolutionary War.)
