Reagan started this country on the down spiral we are now in. Under Reagan, we raise the debt ceiling and unprecedented 18 times. He increased the deficit, 186%. More than any president in history with the exception of FDR and Wilson, both of whom were dealing with world wars when they were in office. His supply side economics (trickle down or Reaganomics) Heavily favored the wealthy as Reagan started the war on the middle class and working poor that still continues today. In the eight years he was in office. The US went from being the largest lender nation in the world to being the largest debtor nation in the world. 2:20 His spend, spend, spend policies did damage we still have not recovered from over 40 years later. The cutbacks he made only favored the wealthy as they damage the middle class, and working poor more and more. Close down all the public mental health facilities chasing many of the people in need out on the streets, seriously, adding to the homeless problem that we still deal with today. And let us not forget, this man was suffering dementia half the time he was in office. Reagan probably did more damage to this country than any other president. The fact that he is so many people think he was a great man shows just how ignorant the masses truly are. It is no wonder that a womanizing narcissistic asshole like tRump was able to finagle his way into the White House.

Third, unlike what Reagan said in the video, I’d prefer security over freedoms for a society if it increases how happy people are. You might think this sounds nuts, but I mean, the term “freedom” doesn’t even have a meaning. For example, if I had the “freedom” to choose between getting stabbed or getting shot, then I wouldn’t really care about having the choice because both options are bad. In fact, you don’t even have a choice on anything-the future is already determined, so there’s nothing that you can do it change it (no matter what religion you are, this still applies). Everything that is going to happen is set in stone (the world works in cause and effect, and even if it wasn’t, it would still work like this). And Reagan’s policies act like they “increase freedoms” and people somehow think that that’s a good thing? Like, I prefer quality “freedoms” over quantity “freedoms”. But security is actually good, on the other hand, because you don’t get diseases, you don’t have as much crime, etc. Real security also means that you’re secure from a corrupt government, so there’s no point in acting like more security is a bad thing. Fourth, Obama actually cares about people. In the video he said something along the lines of “my individual salvation depends on our collective salvation”. Which is absolutely a good thing. I want a president that wants everyone in a society to be happy. I don’t know why anyone would not want everyone to be happy. Reagan’s idea of people “deserving” money is complete insanity; it’s not like people are to blame for being poor and not being taught how to be rich. I mean, even rich people were just as likely to be born poor and unable to access education, so they shouldn’t act like they’re any better than anyone else. Still think he was a great leader?

Reagan started this country on the down spiral we are now in. Under Reagan, we raise the debt ceiling and unprecedented 18 times. He increased the deficit, 186%. More than any president in history with the exception of FDR and Wilson, both of whom were dealing with world wars when they were in office. His supply side economics (trickle down or Reaganomics) Heavily favored the wealthy as Reagan started the war on the middle class and working poor that still continues today. In the eight years he was in office. The US went from being the largest lender nation in the world to being the largest debtor nation in the world. 2:20 His spend, spend, spend policies did damage we still have not recovered from over 40 years later. The cutbacks he made only favored the wealthy as they damage the middle class, and working poor more and more. Close down all the public mental health facilities chasing many of the people in need out on the streets, seriously, adding to the homeless problem that we still deal with today. And let us not forget, this man was suffering dementia half the time he was in office. Reagan probably did more damage to this country than any other president. The fact that he is so many people think he was a great man shows just how ignorant the masses truly are. It is no wonder that a womanizing narcissistic asshole like tRump was able to finagle his way into the White House.
