@@paulien7779 No need to try to inform Adrienne, you will see it's not an innocent question, it's her opinion. This video is about meeting the dogs head on, to get the dog under control, so that he can teach the owner by modeling, and demonstrating the proper methods and behavior that are needed with that particular dog. When he first gets the dog he is stopping unwanted behavior, and even thoughts of unwanted behavior. Yes there may be a command given such as sit, but mostly it's behavior modification also called stopping unwanted behavior. Later he teaches the owner how to do this, and then depending on the dog he may teach the owner how to teach the dog different commands. The process is then followed by the owner for weeks and months. This is to elaborate on and support your point that he trains owners. He never claims that the dog is completely trained after interacting with him. Nor does he claim that the dog's behavior pattern is completely changed after interacting with him. For the dog to change it has to go through a process called proofing in a variety of situations. Thanks for your feedback to Adrienne.

I observed Dog Daddy in person for a long day of training. His classes are exactly like this video. He spends most of the time helping the owners just like in this video. Ir’s amazing. He doesn’t use his abilities to calm dogs down as a ‘party trick.’ He gets the dogs calm, just like his videos, then teaches the owners what to do, how to practice, what to expect over time. Absolutely phenomenal trainer!!!!! Dog Daddy for the WIN!!!!

in general a dog always has a good demeanor. Its only when they are mistreated and conditioned in the wrong way without correction that they bahave bad. Yes there are breeds like pitbulls which are more agressive and tbh i dont reccomend getting a dog like that for your family unless you really know how to deal with them and you have harmony within the family. If you expose the dog to agression and mistreatment the outcome can be quite bad. Look at the stats.

@@myk9crew I had your same concerns. I was able to watch DD for a whole day in person (about 15 dogs). He spends the great majority of his time teaching the owners. The classes are just like the videos. The owners leave with significant tools, and DD has shown them what their dogs can do with practice. It was amazing!!! I promise it’s not intimidation. These dogs we’re struggling and lunging every minute when they arrived-basically chocking themselves with each lunge every single day despite having loving owners. DD lets the dogs struggle until he can touch (lay hands gently, not a slap or anything) their heads and sides. Some dogs stopped struggling immediately, some took a few minutes-a very fe minutes- and the dogs are no longer struggling or chocking on the leash. Then DD spends most of the time training the owners (DD is very clear the owners need to practice and he shows them how). I promise you I had similar concerns as yours but came away even more, much more, impressed in person even the seemingly magical the videos posted in social media. Hooray Dog Daddy!!!!!!

Respectfully, how many other dog trainers have you seen? Just the ones on social media or have you actually taken a class or worked with dog trainers? There are thousands of other trainers out there who have actually studied dog behavior and learning theory and who can accomplish the same kinds of things without using force, intimidation, bullying or physical punishment. The only true gift this guy has is being able to make sensationalized videos that hoodwink the public into thinking he knows what he's doing.

My gosh that was beautiful! My room mate has a doberman that's completely reactive, never barked or growled at me, she loved me the minute we met, but he thinks he's so cool walking around with her by her collar telling people oh she bites blah blah blah. It's so sad to watch. She's a beautiful dog, he just doesn't get how bad it is what he's doing. She's a reactive fear biter mess! This dog responded absolutely perfectly here. Beautiful job Dog Daddy!

While I'm a dog lover and enjoy watching your video's (though still indecive of the stud collar), please post more on KZread, there have been a few video's on YT which stated "Part 2 to Come" which never did. I only found your channel a few days ago from Facebook to here which says go to Instagram which I don't, as I'm sure a lot of your subs don't either. Why not spread the love from instagram to here as many do? You can also make a few extra dollars if you see how other poster's have done it ie: post a vid of more than 10 minutes and whatever (I forgot the rest of what they said), but for your community here, please post more?

I just want to say from a person who has 4 very powerful breeds currently in my home all of which are rescued from very abusive situations except one. It takes a lot to integrate them to live harmoniously with each other. It requires strength, firmness, consistency and love. These are all things I see dog daddy providing troubled dogs. I'm not a trainer, but understanding the breed you have and there characteristics are so important. I have 2 mastiff mixes, a rottweiler, and a great dane living under one roof. People have to realize that large and giant breeds need lots of direction, because they all can become insecure if the handler is lacking confidence. Without our confidence our dogs will become fearful and over protective. I think your videos are awesome and you have helped so many. Thank you.

It’s so amazing that I’ve found this young man!!! Every video that I’ve seen with a German shepherd and/or a Belgian malinois is EXACTLY how my 10 month old puppy is. Fear aggressive and wants to do things her own way when you ask her to do something. She will lay out/roll all on the ground. She is extremely smart. I’m happy to implement everything I’m learning from DD! Buying my collars and leashes for my puppy and 3 yr old APBT mix. My Pit is an alpha female dog that I adopted October 2021, and she wants to dominate every animal possible, but she is super sweet and loves people (just not being fenced in away from ppl-it makes her super aggressive OR ppl with certain clothing on)

@@sistersouldier7773 If you don't know what you are seeing, it's hugely likely that the dog is shutting down. Fear is often genetic, and you can help, but not eradicate it. Dogs do things either because the consequence is good, or because it's something they don't like. I choose the first, because it is good for relationship, whereas his techniques are not.

It's too bad that people wait until their dog is older and much more out of control. It is always recommended that you start training at a young age. DD gets them when they're out of control and still manages to help them. Great job DD. I love to watch you at work. I've actually used some of your techniques.

The problem with aggressive dogs is down to the owners. It's not the dog's bad behaviour it's down to the owners not knowing how to control a dog. I used to take on aggressive dogs and do the same as Dog Daddy. I had 13 GSD living in my house with 2 young children and it was amazing. Keep up the good work Dog Daddy.

What i love about this guide kzread.infoUgkxKkYeOoCV_w2vPX0CSyVWkhew2c4FYk0d is that you don' need to read the whole book cover to cover ... You can skip to the chapter (lesson) you want to read about. The book is arranged almost as a problem-solving guide ... Here is the problem and here is what you need to know/do to correct it. This man knows his stuff ... But more importantly knows how to teach people how they can work with their pups themselves!
